How make a immobile mushroom ?

Hi! I need this for my serie (Bowser's Infernal Kingdom [BIK]) However I see this in the "Super Mario First Class". But I don't understnad how it's possible.
When you hit a block, the block spawns a mushroom, a mush that don't moves. How it's possible this? Thanks at all for reply.

create a new .txt file in your level folder titled "npc-9.txt" and write the following in it:

Code: Select all

speed=0
This will cause the mushroom NPC to stay immobile. However, you can't make moving mushrooms in this level anymore if you do that.

Idea: make the smb3 mushroom immobile, and replace the SMB1 mushroom graphics with smb3 mushroom. That way, the smb1 mushroom still moves and you can have both still and moving mushrooms.

Yeah, you use the speed= - NPC-Code to alter the specific NPC's movement speed. By typing "speed=2", for example, your mushrooms will go twice as fast as normally.

The problem with this is that it means you can't really use the SMB1 mushroom in other levels unless it's reskinned to SMB3 throughout the episode, as it will change to a SMB1 mushroom in other levels in the item box.

Yeah you can, you just Name a Folder <Level Name> and then you put the SMB3 Mushroom GFX Replacement and the NPC Code.txt file for the original SMB3 Mushroom in that folder so it won't happen through-out the whole Episode.
