Oh wow. I thought this was a joke at first.

Ah well, he lived a complete life as far as I'm concerned. Shame he couldn't go on longer, and it had to be cancer.

This is, uh...wow. I had no idea he was having problems.

I hope Nintendo can recover.

Well now what will happen, will they replace him, hold a funeral, or will they do something for him. Really this is kinda/really sad...

May Sensei Iwata rest in peace...

I thought it was a bile duct growth?

Anyways, I'm really sad to hear he's passed. I hope he rests in peace, and that he's remembered as the great man he really was.

A sad day for gaming indeed...

Are you insane, he can't even speak Siamese, let alone Chinese, that would be a worse disaster then the fail of the virtual boy.

Genyo Takeda is acting as representative director of Nintendo right now. It'll probably be him or Mr. Miyamoto that will take over.

The cancer is what caused the growth, it was a tumor.

It was bile duct growth( dammit aeromatter ninja'd me), it was a tyoe of cancer that caused it. that is why he did not make E3,( and how that is why some thing in E3 went how you say, funny lol)

Well I think it would be average, i would have Sakuri instead, but i digress as it is an unpopular opinion and will never happen.
I migt not be a fail as it would be some what of an odd idea, it would be better if Reggie stayed in the Americas, rather then Japan. I would recommend those in Japan that have experience. (Dammit it Joey ninja'd me...)

Yeah, it was cancer.

He had surgery for it and all evidence pointed to that he was doing well. According to him, it was detected very early. That's what makes this pretty shocking to me. Cancer can be a pretty stubborn thing, unfortunately.

Are you, uh... joking?

Anyway, we might see an announcement for the new CEO tomorrow I guess? I imagine it's a pretty heavy decision.

My bet is Miyamoto
Genyo is most likely just there to take control as of now until they fix their shit

This is a huge loss for a huge gaming company. I bet Miyamoto would be the president of Nintendo, but... Wow. I didn't saw that coming. Rest in Peace.

Farewell, Mr Iwata.

I'm not the hugest Nintendo fan, but I'll be damned if that man and his work - from Earthbound until today - didn't have a positive effect on my life. He will truly be missed.
