You just need to click F12 in the editor and it will automatically save as an image to your screenshots folder in the SMBX directory

I have a problem, my contoller (Buffalo classic usb gamepad) works but I can not use all buttons. For example, I can not duck or get out of dialog boxes. Can I fix this somehow?

It just depends on your computer and the number of objects in the level

Hello, Im am desperatly in need of some help with this. I do not even know how to make a post so i have to just respond to this instead. I dont understand how your suppose to make a public post. using the Chat notifications, private messages nothing works. there is no button that just says make a post its really not easy. Anyway im having some trouble with smbx world editor, i cannot move my character after i beat the first level and end up at the world map, i cannot move to the next level. please help

good guide, but you don't talk about how to use custom graphics for the world editor, you do explain for the level editor, but not for world editor, which really annoyed me since I have no idea how to use World Editor custom graphics without replacing them in the graphics file.

If I recall correctly you put the custom world map graphics right into the episode folder. Don't take me for 100% certain but try it out.

I installed the game w/ an admin password, then when I closed it and tried to open it, I couldn't find the file for opening it again. All I can find is the installer, and I made a level and saved it. What do I do?

SMBX does not have an installer. The executable file you have is the game

Quick question, how might one play a level? I'm clicking on the world editor or whatever the one is called where you play through it and edit it, but its not working. Another quick question while I'm at it, how do I play the level like someone else would (not in the editor)? Thanks

You can trivially find out how to test a level inside the editor? Are you saying that testing is not working for you for some reason?

Playing in-editor: Open the level, hit F5.
Playing in-game: Make a .wld file in a subfolder in the worlds folder, put down a level tile, type in the level filename (lvl file needs to be in same path as wld file), set the tile to "game start", give the map a name, exit the editor and load into it from the launcher. This step is so convoluted people just play singular levels in the editor all the time. It's only ever used for full episodes.
