General Member's Creation - Testing in SMBX

About general testing in a game that has been created by one or multiple members is for sure one of the most important feature we have in SMBX, no matter if it's done via with the level editor or in the main game.

The main reason as of why I'm talking about this is that I've seen quite a bit of SMBX levels and even some SMBX Episodes that it seems that some of the areas inside a level or even on a world map that it hasn't been tested or rather not tested well enough. In results like this, either you'll get an unfair advantage at a level or even that you physically can't advance further in a game like this just because of either poorly tested by the creator or not even tested at all even for a finished SMBX episode or levels in that case.

Personally, depends how far you've created your works, it has to be tested by all means and if your work is fully finished, test it especially multiple times for gaining the best results out of your own creation no matter what in SMBX. If things hasn't been tested yet and you simply puplic it especially if it's finished, things can go wrong depending as of how you've created.

This needs to be stickied. There are still people who don't test through all their levels to look for minor bugs and flaws that could potentially be game-breaking or prevent the player from moving further.

Another way to look at this! If you do not test enough, you can even sequence break some episodes! I will not give examples of this yet, but there are some out there...

The general device of utulizing people-created games, no matter which, it needs to be tested in it's entirely and if you don't then you give the players an unfair advantage.

Yes but some flaws are hard to find so it's understandable.

This can also be the case but depends if it's intentional or not.
