SMBX doesn't use Xat, we use IRC.

Yes I'm aware, I was curious if the idea of Xat came up though.

ummm... hello guys, im new here, played smbx 1.3 recently, after i found smbx1.3.exe on random forum. then install it on my pc then i saw www.supermariobrothers.org but, came to the wrong place, then google it, one thing leed to another, can i ask something ? what is this place ? what is featured episodes on the home ? can i add new maps on mario ? how ? i just finished the invasion 2 with 89 levels done and 6 stars collected, good god that was fun,

This is a forum for SMBX; you can upload your SMBX levels and episodes for others to play, as well as download and play SMBX levels and episodes made by other people.

It's a list of all the SMBX episodes that have screenshots good enough to convince the forum founder to label them as featured episodes. However, the featured episodes have been discontinued, so no other episodes will be featured.

If you want to play someone else's episode, download it and put the episode's folder in SMBX's "worlds" folder.

If you want to make your own SMBX episode: When you first open SMBX, there are two buttons on the bottom-left of the window: one is labeled "Start Game" and the other is labeled "Level Editor." Click "Level Editor," then click "mode --> World Editor." Don't forget to save the map in a folder within SMBX's "worlds" folder, or it won't show up in "Start Game."
