That wasn't the same type of suggestion that I'm looking for with this thread. On the rare occasion that I delete a topic on this forum, it's because letting the thread exist would have been more harmful.

Anything that can make the IRC more fun/welcoming/easy to use: weekly events, a better help system, and stuff like that.

Uh, ok then. I had concerns regarding security and what not as you know in the staff forum, but I guess we could do something like this.

My idea is some channel operators who aren't global moderators on the forums. Like Quill. True there's not too much trouble on the IRC but still some non mod operators would be good to have.

Yes, then users could be operators on the irc so then they would know what it is like to look after a place on the forums just in case they wanted to be mods/admins but were not aloud to be one, so instead they could be operators of the irc.

I reckon that they should have their own class as well since they would be quite important to the forum so then people could identify a n operator just in case rather than scouting the user area for their names.

Didn't someone make a suggestion to hire operators for nighttime since people spam stuff when the mods are inactive? What ever became of that?

We're going to use Xanos' pre-programmed AI to handle spam since the bot is on at all hours.

For my suggestion, I think that we should discuss with our affiliates the option of moving their community chats to our network and get fresh people online.

Also, add masked hostnames with unique IDs or riot.

This is a good idea but likely won't happen in the case of SMWCentral in Talkhaus since they have their own networks as well. I can talk to MFGG and RVLution's people about it, though.

Haha, I haven't thought about that in a while. I do remember that people abused it, though. I think that was a qwebirc-specific command, so I don't have it.
