I updated this using Airship's Example you'll find below.It looks much better;better shading and outline and all that.

That and the facr that normally blocks use a black outline. Also, you should probably add some shading.

It needs more shading and the outline is inconsistent.

@Snowburger try using black outlines and not just two colours per texture. Textures start looking good with 3-4 colours, depending on what kind of texture it is.

I don't think it needs a black outline, but putting a brown outline instead of green when there is only sand would fit. Also the added color shades would put more contrast between the lightest color and darkest color.

I've updated the main post with a complete revamp,so what do you guys think?

it looks a lot better now, i think you could also make grass inside the blocks, like in smw, it would be cool
