I was working on a level on the level editor and I noticed, a good amount of the enemies from some of the Mario games aren't there, for example:
charging chuck
wiggler
torpedo ted (yes that is a real enemy)
those snake guys from smb2
the angry sun
so it made me wonder, why aren't these in SMBX? and theories? :?

As you'll quickly learn, a lot of stuff isn't in SMBX simply because the creator, Redigit, just never bothered to code it in. There's no big secret or anything. Pretty much all of these enemies have been implemented somehow via custom NPCs however.

what pseudo dino said, redigit did not give a fuck to them and didn't implemented them in game. you still can have them with custom graphics, however they will not behave exactly like their game counterparts.

It's not that he 'didn't give a fuck', it's more that it would be incredibly tedious to add every single Mario enemy known to man. So, he took an easier approah and implemented custom npcs.
