This community always needed one.

So yeah, I finally managed to rip every (I hope) background from one SNES game, called Yoshi's Island.
This pack contains a lot of backgrounds from Yoshi's Island and it took a really long time to rip them.

There are more than 150 backgrounds in total!

Now here's a small part of this pack's contents: The pack is really big - it's 24 MBs! It's even bigger than my TSRPR Background Pack.
Also this pack is in my 'ultimate' GFX pack too.

Pretty much every background is ripped by me, because the old ones from other users had a lot of 1x1 pixels, even Red Yoshi's and Walu1gi's backgrounds.
Feel free to tell me if I missed any background. Also yes, I do accept background combination requests

Did the background that Nintendo had for the bonus game really go that high? Seems like a bit much, but if that's what they did have, I guess we can't do much about it.

Well, not really. Actually I made it that big and the reason of that is when someone will extend the section boundaries to the top, background won't scroll slowly.

+1 for creativity (mixing background together in a good way)

I am in love with these backgrounds. Some look pretty cool. One question: Where does background 13 appear in YI? (the one with the moon and the falling stars)

Thanks! That background appears in the title screen when you've reached World 6.

I saw many YI background packs so far, but none of them were this good. Good work here, definitely something I needed!

Wow, finally you finished it. It's fantastic to see YI backgrounds, I really like them.

Ooo yes! I love Yoshi's Island very much! And these background are very beautiful! I think I can use it in YI styled Projects.

Wow, I gotta give you credit, these look really well ripped, I had plans to take on the tedious task of making a SMW2 themed level/episode. I don't know if it'd be a Super Mario World Gaiden 2 or whatever, but still, I can see myself using these if I ever get the willpower to use them.
