Story:

Valtteri was about to return from the war against the Mushroom Robbers, so the townspeople of the SMBX forum decided to celebrate the occasion with a spring festival. However, Valtteri didn't arrive. Instead a letter reached them:



The people were in shock. Valtteri, stolen from SMBX?! Everyone panicked, except forSquishyRex, who suggested to get the help of their favorite hero, Merio.

And so Merio, SquishyRex, zlaker357, Marina and Nickname went on an adventure into the Tower of Biased to rescue Valtteri.

Interesting concept for well, having effort and jokes in it. In the future, I will do a playthrough Let's Play on that game. Already prepared to play it but I need less working productions first (basically, less SMBX Episodes to take cover).

This is a very short episode, but was quite cool. I just wish there was more to it.

I had an issue with the Joey fight though, I ended up getting the vase behind him and couldn't damage him anymore.

Good to hear you enjoyed it. Yeah, it's not meant to be that long, considering it started out as one level lol

Also about the boss fight, I don't really know how to fix this, I don't even know how the hell you got the vase behind him?? I just set the boss up the way it would normally be set up, so I didn't consider something like this happening lmao

You go near Mother Brain and throw it. Mother Brain can't block NPCs (so to fix this, put a npcblock=1 for Mother Brain), so it'll go behind it.
Also, if you die at the AeroMatter fight, nothing will happen when you'll enter the level again and you have to cheat to finish it.

Right, I forgot the automatic level restart glitches automatic events out, but it was necessary to have the automatic level restart to prevent the player from getting Marina outside of her level.

I'll upload a fixed version later.

edit: okay i did download the wrong file. i played through the version that had music and i gotta say

bitchin' soundtrack to go with a bitchin' short episode. especially the final two boss battles, where did you even find those

the level design looks decent. I like the "darkonius" image in the last screen (although it looks weird and creepy) , and the Emral soda jokes in the first screen. I'll play this

I really should stop suggesting to go save people, but this does look pretty fun though. Gamplay-wise, judging from the screens of course, it looks fun and unique, the graphics are colourful and entertaining and....there appears to be enough material for a sequel. As far as Joke episodes go, if that's what you can call this, it is a prime example of what a Joke episode should look like, not just a heap of levels made using a myriad of random, nonsensical things.

Also, the story seems rather familiar, was this the concept we were discussing on IRC a while back? I see you've implemented the "Out of Order" joke too, nice one.

It was rather short, judging by glitch4's video but it looks good. I enjoyed the SWY bit and my fight ofc. 10/10
