Games similar to SMBX?

Is there any good game similar to SMBX, besides those I have mentioned (standalone, not flash online games like Super Mario Bros. Crossover)? The ones I have tried so far which are good are Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, Super Mario Fusion Revival, Super Mario Bros: Odyssey, Mario Forever and New Super Mario Forever 2012.

Mario Builder is also a pretty good Mario editor but for that you need at least a good pc to run with.

Lots of Mario games are made by Hello engine (half of them are bad), and they're similiar to SMBX, like this.

Not looking for editors. Just games with good gameplay, levels and storyline.

Then you should call this "Mario Fangames with Good Gameplay, Levels, and Storyline?" because SMBX is really an engine and editor and technically not a game in and of itself.

The only other fangames I've tried was an unfinished demo of "Super Mario Bros & the Midas Machine" which was pretty fun, and MariO, which is SMB1 with a portal gun. (though technically it's also like SMBX because it needs you to give it maps. The included ones are pretty good though.)

Aside for the editor, SMBX is a platform mario fangame, right?

You should try Super Mario Pearls of Wisdom, and also Sacred Bells, both games have pretty good gameplay.

I can recommend a game that isn't similar to SMBX at all, if that's helpful.

Any game which is a Super Mario Bros platformer will do the job. 8-)

What do you mean Storyline and Levels. The storyline and levels does not come from the game itself it come from the community.

Know which smbx episodes are your favorite. Then look for fangames that are a lot like those.
