Cause it's so hard to use the "Goto Page #" function, or click page 300 to go to that page, because people really need to read page 167 of the thread.

EDIT: I just realized there is no goto page function. I thought that existed. Still, it's not hard to navigate.

I don't understand how because it's easier for moderators to navigate posts but more difficult for users, you completely trump the users' opinions and make hundreds of peoples' lives more difficult. How about we never lock this thread and have quick navigation on the OP if "going through posts easier harder matters so much to you guys? If having more than 100 pages literally does nothing to BREAK the forum, WHY IS IT PROHIBITED IN THE FIRST PLACE

Really, it's not even that hard. Also, who's gonna come in and read even every single page in this thread from 1 to 99? WHO WOULD EVEN READ TO PAGE 50 from 1? I know I wouldn't.

If there is an event happening on page X, OP can link to that post in the first post.

Sifting through pages isn't really that hard, plus there isn't anything to look back upon besides event information, which can easily be found a few pages from the latest.
