It's not really pleasant at all.
I guess those are firebars?

Don't use crap like that as an excuse. If that were the case, then the ground would be holding wands and homeless people could disappear at will.
Wow, chill man!
It looks really nice.
What is it with people giving other folks a hard time over stupid little things on the internet??
I have seen Nintendo do similar before, i mean.. does it make since to one minute be in the clouds, jump down a pipe and the next be underground? Does THAT make any damn sense? NO but who CARES, it's a VIDEO GAME, that's what makes mario games charming!
How about pools of water floating in mid air? SMB3 does that in giant land!
He's right, it's a VIDEO GAME!!!! Video games do NOT need logic!!!
Their friggin video games! O.o
I personally see the charm in such an odd mash up.. now please, for the love of Michael O'Malley!!
You don't EVEN wanna see what I'M DOING, you would flip your lid just as much if not more!!! O_O

Not only that, this remastered tileset will fit with some Labyrinth Zone backgrounds from my TSRPR background pack!
Looks pretty decent overall. There are no flaws with the tileset!
The dirt for the rocks needs to be darker, but overall a good remaster.

Pretty neat, but I think I prefer the original one. Still seems to be very well done, though, but I don't really like the grainy style this one uses. The red crystal could also be slightly brighter, as the very dark colors don't look very nice with the white.

After many years of not really using SMBX, I decided to make a level again. May or may not be a part of a project and is still wip.

This looks pretty sweet! I like the atmosphere! The burning galoombas are adorable and I think I can see a face in the fire at some frames, though that might just be my imagination.
I do, however, have a few complains:
The Koopa's outline is a bit to thick at certain points. It just doesn't look right. Apart from that, the colour on the background fire seems wrong. Try making it brighter than the foreground objects maybe. I think it doesn't blend well. Speaking of colours, Give the clouds a black outline maybe.
