The first town would not have real people and would work as a tutorial for new players. Out side of the home town you would have you carry out an average pokemon story but with REAL people to fight instead of just soulless NPC's (but they'd still be their as gym leaders, road blockers, and cult members).
All right a pokemon mmo might have potential to work, but this is one of the worst ideas i've ever heard. If you start playing the game 2 months after it comes out, it would be impossible to progress because everyone would just have level 100 legendaries. Plus it's not like you can force people to battle each other, meaning you could get very underleveled if you're unlucky.
There are just so many problems with what you suggested that it would make for a terrible game.

What's wrong with the new legendaries, in your opinion? I like them a lot better personally than the box legendaries of Gen 4 and 5 (except Giratina, that one was great)

The hospitals would have a special booth where you could request a fight with a certain level player and the wait time wouldn't be too long because you know people would play the shit outta this. As for legendry's, they would only be available In the post-game servers.
After you beat the main story you would get a personal pass code to a post server made only for players done with the main story where all wild Pokémon are raised 20 levels, this would also include the post game battles (The cult leader's, your rival) The pass code would be decided based on your name, birth, collected Pokémon, and the level of those Pokémon. However, each code can only be used once. To avoid having people give out random codes online, the codes will only be activated after the main story has been completed by the person with that information.

I think you have lost your mind.

I like the references to alchemy with solgaleo, lunala and (arguably) litten.

Between Friday and Saturday I completely caught up with the XY anime (having stopped watching around episode 40 twoish years ago) and it's absolutely brilliant. There's amazing animation, actual character development and Ash/Satoshi is actually good. There's also AmourShipping!!! which is super great.
XY&Z is even better. The Team Flare/Zygarde content is great and I hope Sun and Moon lets you return to Kalos to finish that storyline and also because Kalos is my favourite region.

Oh look, you got your Serena avatar back. I don't personally watch the anime, to be honest. Well, I used to but I stopped and focused more on the games. And yeah, I have a feeling we're going back to Kalos in S&M, based on the fact that Kalos was essentially just a Kanto reboot as a way of bringing back the older fans. Alola might as well feature a few Johto-centric stuff that will hopefully culminate in a return to Kalos (and a Zygarde subplot!) as well as trying to solve the mysteries that are still floating around Gen VI, such as the point of Couriway Station and the ghost girl.
And as for my favourite region, it's Hoenn. One of my first ever Pokemon games was Ruby and I have the most memories of surfing over the endless water.

They never explained the Old Chateau in Diamond and Pearl.... I don't see how this would be any different.

I'm pretty sure the fans already sussed out the theory that the inhabitants were poisoned, hence there's the Antidote in the trash.
Erm, they're not new. We've known about them for ages until S&M officially confirmed them to be in the game.

I knew about the Zygarde forms, but this is the first gameplay shown. Iwanko appeared in a trailer, but for like one frame, but where did you know about the Nekkoala?

Ah yes, I've heard of Iwanko and Nekkoala. Apparently Nekkoala has some weird ability: "Definite Sleep" that only allows it to be inflicted with Sleep status.

Yes, it seems really useful, especially when fighting against people that spam Will-o-Wisp and Thunder Wave.

Yeah that's going to be a ridiculous ability. Nekkoala looks like it could be the Rattata of this generation though (although they've all been rodents so far so maybe not) so it may turn out to be garbage anyways.

Really?
I'm sort off finding it interesting, especially since alot of trainers would try to give you status conditions right away, but since it's sleep that does make it's more of a risk.

I think it would have been cooler if he was always asleep, and he had to use sleep talk in order to do anything. He could have really good stats and immunity to status effects, but access to only 3 moves and the inability to choose which one he uses.
I can understand why that wouldn't be good for the whole "bonding with your pokemon" thing, though.

That would actually be extremely cool and original. I wonder if it'd be any good in competitive or not.
