@Waddle Derp: You need delete some slopes at end. Player can just press down on slopes and fall in lava, you know? also. Nice!

AirShip: I think I prefer the cleaner style of Nickname's tileset, this one might be a bit too grainy.
RudeGuy: Not bad, but I'm not a fan of the black sky color and the red clouds, they don't fit well with the rest of the BG. You might try either darkening the BG hills a bit or brightening the clouds. The lava also feels a bit all over the place, but it might be just me.

Is this better? I tried darkening more the clouds and the hills.

Some Information On A New Project Replacing An Old, Cancelled Project.
This Is What Happens If You DON'T Find Bowser's Cave In SMW (The One That Comes Out of The Water On The World Map).
Little Preview of W1-1 Of SMW Bad Future Edition (Sonic CD Reference There). That Pipe At The Beginning Is A Warp To The Hub And It Needs A Star To Go Back. There Will Be NO World Map, But A HUB Level. And Sonic 2D Blast Is Cancelled, But This Is A New Project. I Might Post it Soon.

I wouldn't put an enemy right next to the starting point, especially considering it's the 1st level.

If I'm correct, that Rex is actually me. Beanluv is using me as a friendly character in this project.

Scorching Savannah/Burning Bushlands (haven't finalised the name yet) Tileset. Even though it's mostly a mere recolor of the original, I still like it.

Oh well, I like the fire though.

No one's gotta stop you from recoloring that tileset, too.
Edit:
Some mall updates to the NPCs. I guess I can start actually making the level now.

Didn't you want to utilise the amazing amount of bgo's packed with the tileset, not to mention its lime and cyan counterparts?

Decided to remake World 1 of my project. Got PGE and tried out some custom graphics.

What about some blackened/charred parts on the bridge pieces? Those underneath the fire NPCs would make it look great in my opinion.
