It's supposed to be a Boo Goo, it replaces the SMW Lava tileset, in other words, it's one hit death.

Sorry is this sounds like sort of an excuse, but the graphics I'm about to show has been boring me to death, therefore I've been postponing it for a very long time. Though, I can say that I'm very happy to have finally finished something that apparently nobody came with, so I hope you guys appreciate my effort and use it sometime, please don't make me go through this tiring stuff for nothing, pretty please.

So, with that said, behold the reason of why I postponed my GFX Pack's update for so long!

Also great news, I'm going to upload this and the rest of my stuff in a couple of hours and ACTUALLY release it, so expect to find it very soon!

Oh, okay.

I do see some tiny cutoff here and there (especially with the slopes), but aside from that it's very creative.

First i thought, you did replace foreground-BGOs, but this is also a nice idea :-).
I really like the name "Boo Goo". I guess someone (if not you) will do a SMW-styled version, since this can be very handy for any ghost-themed levels.
Is this animated maybe?

Also, some new stuff for the next update of the SMB1 expanded GFX-pack:
Spoiler: show

The lava-stuff is 100% done now, with three new backgrounds, SMB1-styled lava-slopes, and also some new NPCs ^^.
And there is now not a single worldmap-scene left. Only a bunch of tiles...

Thanks, and yeah, an SMW styled version would be cool, maybe I could make it, if I'm not bored to deaths as I was making the SMB3 styled one. =P
And yeah, it's animated, it's a wavy goo.

That sir is some great stuff you've got there. Love the lava tiles AND world map tiles, overall the lavafall, god damn it looks so cool! By the way, I believe you didn't make a waterfall for the normal world map you've already released. That would be a cool addition as well you know?

Looking forward for your next update dude.

My God, zlakerboy, that looks amazing, and it resembles SM7's design well. Nice work as always.
