I made it very linear and easy to process through.

Yeah, the Rinkas were there for a better challenge, but I forgot they also despawn because they are also part of the "Spawned npcs".
I forgot to check the warp, before I didn't know how PGE's warp positions worked.
I think of redoing those kind of boss battles with more of a challenge.
But I'm glad how it turned out, and I'm happy I've found the prefect length of a good level.

I'll fix the errors and maybe change the boss battle a little, I'll accept the criticism to use for my CC13 level.

I want to dunk in some of my criticism on your level:
-the midpoint is very lopsided because the boss doesn't pose any threat
-what happens if you hit the blue switch for the airship and then fall down?
-falling down after the propeller section forces you to redo it. A switch to raise some shortcut platforms would've been nice.

#1 - The midpoint is actually a reference to the CC12 levels were there are checkpoints prior the boss.
#2 - I've just realized this a little too late, I probably need to look further on my ideas more.
#3 - You know, you're actually right, I think I've should've made an little bomb generator to hit a switch and make it disappear upon contact.

Thanks for pointing those out, I'll fix those as well. ;)

Midpoints should be nerfed in SMBX 2.0 so The Enemy's Castle is easier to play.

I didn't like my own level and I made this far.
OMG when I do a amazing level I placed low ( cc12 )
Now I did a very generic level than are on top 10.
The smbx is really astounding, it happens odd and interesting things... lol

You know judges, I see exactly what you mean about each and every flaw in my level. Upon replaying it yesterday, I did notice the cluttered enemies,I saw the inconsistency with the water (as well as a patch of cut-off with the swim-zones) I did notice the second star's Birdo being a bit off, I realized that you could cheat the first fight in so many ways. I'm sorry for somewhat rushing the level despite putting care into it, honestly five hours without breaks well spent. I also noticed a clipping issue with a certain pipe in section 2... f*ck.

And about the hub warp, You should know what I want from it. A warp back out of the level. Yes the typo is cringe-worthy. I didn't intend for it to crash the game though of all things.

About the knowledge of needing a leaf, you CAN backtrack from end to start if need be, there isn't any points of no return (at least I don't think there are).

I'm sorta ashamed of myself for submitting a technically unfinished level, but surprised as hell my first submission into any contest ever made it so far.

And... wraith... What the hell did the other judges hit you with to give such a high score? :shock:

I like my placement, I used a old level and this placement is very good for it! ( I only did some modifications in the level) I like how my level could get a better place if I had respected the deadline.Thanks judges!
