On your second screenshot, Luigi is Standing on a sizeable block with a messed up mask. Other than that, everything so far Looks very interesting and it's Kind of rare to find an upside down doors and such in Levels. I'll be looking Forward to this.

I always wanted PGE Editor to have an NPC group for dummy NPCs I discovered year ago. Today I saw Wohlstand's post about how to do it and since Wohlstand haven't included them in original PGE Editor, I finally could revive my dream:

Yes, I managed to edit the config file with Notepad++ to include these NPCs into PGE Editor! And as a reference, I made these dummy NPCs look like "Unknown NPC" graphic in old PGE Editor builds.
So, if you want to get them in PGE Editor without having to edit config file by yourself, you can download my modified files:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/h32h4 ... y+npcs.zip

Put them in *your PGE folder*/configs/SMBX! And remember that you still need use custom graphics to see them in SMBX.

While you're at it, go ahead and make a rule against joke graphics, episodes, and projects. If you're gonna ban it ban it all.

Is there any reason of why not using the SMW coin and instead using the SMB3 styled SMW coin
And I think you should've use SMW tileset instead of others, but the level's well designed anyway.

The outlines clash with each other. Either use all-cyan outlines, or all-black. A mix won't do.

Here's a level I made in 2012:
