Actually, normal levels generally get more feedback than casual levels.

Here's a better question: who cares?

A forum's a forum. Regardless of the end goal.

...well good. I thought you wanted this to be a place solely for SMBX for the most part.

And not much people do anymore, which is why this place is vastly losing activity.

Try making this place more appealing to users who don't care much for SMBX, Joey.

True, but the replies accumulate over a period of a few weeks. Not to mention official reviews take a while on a lot of the levels. I'm not complaining, because whatever activity there is is productive, albeit a bit slow.

True. I have been noticing everyday I come on here that less people are online at a time. :(

Yesterday it said 20 people online and today it said 18 people online.

Things like an actual decrease in activity don't happen over days. There are multiple reasons for there being 18 users today, for example the time or just some ppl not being active today, but changes over a day mean literally nothing.

It's probably your timing for when you come on. When I get up and check the forum there's usually just a few people online, and it's slow for awhile until the later afternoon and evening after school and work when people come on. There's pretty much nobody on during the late night/early morning except one or two night owls, myself included. These times of day I mention are from the EST time perspective, so depending on your area you might see less people on when it's the afternoon where you are.

Also, since nobody is mentioning it, we have a lot of guests on too. Don't get fooled by a lack of names showing up, because sometimes if not most of the time there are more guests on than users so that's a number to keep in mind as well. For what it's worth guests, from what I have seen, tend to read topics in the SMBX section of the forums.

EDIT:

At this moment there are 19 people online: 3 registered (excluding bots) and 12 guests

I think the amount of people online depends on the time of day. ;) currently 32 people online.

Definitely explains why not everyone talks in Mafia, makes it boring and long with no drama and those stuff in it.

You're not going to see as much hype in Mafia as before after 20 games.

Truthis I actually sort of miss Magna playing in Mafia, but no where else really.

Yeah, he actually made things somewhat exciting (excluding the gigantic shitstorm of M7 =P).

He was fine in the game as a player. I honestly wouldn't consider him as a host at any point in my life, but M7 existed so.

He's actually not that bad of a host either (excluding M6 with the Painter lol). He hosted the most recent Mafia game on Krazykat's forum and wasn't a bad host at all, except for the fact that it took him forever to end the last phase and get the postgame up.

Anyways, I really think that if this discussion continues further, then it needs to be brought to the Mafia discussion thread.

Isn't not caring about SMBX a bit of a counterproductive thing to do?

i think this forum is alive and full of blood (meaning to say it is healthy, not gorey or violent.) as long as most of the active members log in and post about every day, we're good.

if you want to see a dead forum, go to Luigi Bros (there is link on smwcentral webpage as an affiliate.) that place has been dead since last year practically.
