Yeah, that's basically what I mean. Let some of the designers who haven't made levels for this episode design some levels and replace some of the dated levels with these.

I was actually thinking about something like that, but a bit different. My idea would be we have invasion-like levels and newer-styled levels in the main game (all levels being original) and then have a bonus world that consists of remastered levels of the old invasion. I don't really want get into that because we have bigger things to focus on, but maybe we could think about that later if others like the idea.

Something tells me that LunaDLL is 100% required for the next game. That may as well apply for the next version of SMBX as well. How is that going, anyway?

Yeah, sorry. Actually I wanted it like that for all levels, seems more Invasion-y. Maybe one world dedicated to "SMBX Community Standards Forest" (unless that sounds too jokey)

I really think an alternative world would be nice, with the CGFX mode being the main mode, required to beat to unlock the alternative mode. Would give w9 a more special feeling as well.

LunaDLL isn't going to be used.
Then why would the screenshots say what they say? DEMOS # / ### seems like it has to use DLL. I can understand if this come out as a base episode for the full release of PGE, but there would have to be a good update to SMBX first before this should come out.

The screenshots were taken with LunaDLL enabled. That doesn't mean those levels used LunaDLL. It's not going to be used because the majority of this community doesn't know how to configure their adblocker and don't feel like googling it.

The majority supports keeping the community levels as is, and that we shall do. However, Red Yoshi got an interesting idea. We'll offer the player two paths to world 3. One with new Invasion esque levels and one with the community levels. I hope this solution satisfies both those who would miss the community levels and those who want the episode to stay true to the Invasion series.

Also, new subtitle. Shadow Star was actually another name for the Invasion 3 project. You see, like a week before Redigit had to take down SMBX, he presented this idea where the challenge mode would be expanded into a dimension, the Shadow Realm. More information coming soon. ;)

If someone steals a name without knowing, are they a thief? Is it karmic for said unwitting thief to have "his" name stolen? Is it karmic for the second thief to have his re-stolen name stolen back by the originators, or are the originators committing a double crime?

Nice subtitle. I was going to propose the subtitle idea again (since it was refused back then in United), but that's not going to be necessary, though.

The world split is good, but why just after world 3? That's a pretty random number. It should have been before or after the first world, or after the last world imo, unless the final of world 2 is something special.

If I wish to guess, there would be puzzles, new kinds of bosses, and random difficulty levels in challenge. That is what I would like to see. :)

I thought it was up to W3, not after W3.

Anyway, I like the idea of a world split. I think I'd rather just replace some existing levels with vanilla levels (or just add some vanilla levels and have some alternate paths in the worlds, like play either 1-2 or 1-3). But yeah, the world split works for me. What are we going to do after that, though, in terms of vanilla levels or modern-styled levels? Are we going to mix different types of levels in a single world?

BTW I like the idea of the shadow realm too.

Our level designers have been hard at work and we've got five new levels done! We've tried to spice up the original style from The Invasion 2 but not too much specifically to satisfy both those who want to keep the classic style and those who want progressive level design. We sincerely hope the result pleases everyone!
