Trouble in Brooklyn
20 players (4 Mafia, 5 Utility, 9 Town, 2 Third-Party)
Cardflip
Role Usage is optional, Mafia killing is optional, but there must be a lynch vote held every day after the first.
If the amount of living Town members equals the amount of living Mafia members, the Mafia wins.
All lynch vote targets must be designated in red, and if they are not, they will not count towards the lynching of that target.
-Mafia-
Godfather: Decides with the other Mafia members on who to kill each night, and is the only one that can send the kill confirmation PM to the host. Cardflips green when inspected or killed.
Mafioso: Decides with the other Mafia members on who to kill each night.
Mafioso: Decides with the other Mafia members on who to kill each night.
Spy: Can paint them self a different color once throughout the entire game. Can inspect a player each night, that player's color will be revealed only to the Spy.
-Town-
Mayor: Can choose to either host a second lynching during the day where a second player gets lynched, or can inspect any player each night, that player's color will be revealed to the Mayor only.
Officer: Can choose a player each day, that player can't be nightkilled. Can't target himself.
Doctor: Can choose a player each night, that player can't be killed in any way the next day/night cycle, can target himself. Can return a dead player into a living one once throughout the entire game, can't target himself.
Vigilante: Can choose to kill any player at night. If he kills an innocent, he loses his ability for one night.
Security Guard: Can learn a secret about a random player each night. (For example, "Player 1 tried to do something funny with Player 2." Or "Player has taken no action during the course of the night", much like the Penguin from previous Mafia games)
Citizen (x8): A normal player with no special abilities. They vote each day to get someone lynched.
Politician: A normal player with no special abilities. When the Mayor dies, he may take the Mayor's place or become a regular Citizen.
-Criminals-
Serial Killer: Can kill a player once per night.
Mugger: Can choose a player each day. At night, the chosen player can't speak and can't use any abilities.
The Mafia wins if the amount of living Town members equals the amount of living Mafia members.
The Town wins if they kill off all of the Mafia members and Criminals.
The Criminals win if they kill off all of the Town and Mafia members.
All of the Mafia members know each other.
The Mayor and the Politician know each other.
The Criminals know each other.
If they Mayor wishes to hold a second lynching, they must PM the host during the night with that request, and when the day starts an announcement will be made that a second lynching is being held, allowing players to vote for two targets to be lynched instead of one.
If a player is inactive, they will be turned into a Phantom. If a player returns from inactivity after becoming a Phantom, they will be given back their role. However, if a player does not return from inactivity after a day/night cycle completes, a substitute will be found for their role and they will be kicked out of the game. A Phantom player may not be targeted by abilities, lynch votes, or night kills.

Based on the description, I'd guess that the Doctor can revive players who are already dead.

I figured it would need reiteration.
Officer can prevent a target from getting nightkilled, but he can't target himself.
Doctor can prevent a target from getting killed during any situation, and he can even target himself.
I updated it now.

M10 - Pick Your Poison
12 Players - Cardflip
This game would change around the Mystery Game mechanic to better suit creative players. Each player will receive a Role PM as usual, but the Role PM will have a variety of options if the player is chosen as a special role. There is a set number of Mafia, a set number of town, and a set number of third parties, but the player will be able to anonymously choose their role out of a set of possible choices. The game does not start until all players have decided on their role. Likewise, Mafia members will not receive the identities of their allies until they have selected their roles, to prevent plotting before the game starts.
Therefore, here are the possible Role PMs:
x1 wrote:You are part of the the Mafia. You can choose to be the Godfather or the Artistic Mafioso.
Godfather - A normal Mafioso who cardflips green.
Artistic Mafioso - A mafioso who can choose to paint players whom the Mafia kill. These paintings will only affect the given player if they are a normal townsperson or a miller.
x2 wrote:You are part of the the Mafia. You can choose to be an Eavesdropper, a Propagandist, or a Roleblocker.
Eavesdropper - A mafioso who can choose one person each night. If that person sent the host any messages, they are forwarded to the Eavesdropper.
Propagandist - A mafioso who can tell one person a random secret each night. (Functions the same as the penguin from previous games).
Roleblocker - A mafioso who can choose one person each night. If that person tried to use an ability, it will be blocked.
x3 wrote:You are part of the Town. You can choose to be a Sheriff, a Doctor, a Propagandist, an Eavesdropper, or a Doublevoter.
Sheriff - A townsperson who can inspect one person each night to learn their color.
Doctor - A townsperson who can save one person each night to prevent them from dying.
Propagandist - A townsperson who can tell one person a random secret each night. (Functions the same as the penguin from previous games).
Eavesdropper - A townsperson who can choose one person each night. If that person sent the host any messages, they are forwarded to the Eavesdropper.
Doublevoter - A townsperson whose lynch votes count double.
x6 wrote:You are part of the Town. You are a Townsperson, who may be a Miller. There may be anywhere from 0-2 Millers.
Townsperson - A normal townsperson with no special abilities.
Miller - A normal townsperson with no special abilities.

it had to be done
just an idea for M10
Trouble in Bikini Bottom
-15 players (3 Villains, 11 Bikini Bottom Crime Stoppers, 1 Third Party).
-Cardflip.
-Role use is optional, Villain killing is optional, lynches on each day are mandatory.
-Villains wins if the Villain member count is the same as the amount of alive players in the Town, along with the Third Party being dead.
-The Bikini Bottom Crime Stoppers win if all of the Mafia and the Third Party are dead.
-The Third Party wins he is the last one standing.
-If you are inactive for 2 days and nights, you will be replaced with a substitute. You must post AT LEAST once per day/night to stay in the game.
-The Villains know each other.
-Lynch votes must be in red, otherwise it will not be counted. Bolding is recommended, but isn't required.
-Roles can only be used at night.
Villains:
Man-Ray: Leader of the Villains. He's able to use the Orb of Confusion on someone, causing their lynch vote to count for somebody else of Man-Ray's choice, twice. The affected player will not know he has been affected. Also PMs the Game Host on who will be night killed.
The Dirty Bubble: A member of the Villains. Has the ability to trap a player into his body, silencing them for a day. Discusses with other Villain members on who will be night killed.
Plankton: His goal is to get a Krabby Patty. Upon doing so, he's immune to night kills by the Third Party for the rest of the game (meaning that only lynching will kill him). Discusses with the other Villain members on who will be night killed.
Bikini Bottom Crime Stoppers:
Spongebob: Inspects a player each night because they might be robots. Color will only be known to Spongebob. Also, has an ability to cook up a Krabby Patty for someone. This player will have their lynch vote count as two.
Mermaid Man: Has the ability to protect a player against EVIL!!! (selects a player to protect from being night killed the next night each night).
Barnacle Boy: If Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy "unite", Barnacle Boy will be able to inspect players as well (still won't know Spongebob's identity, but will know Mermaid Man's).
Regular Bikini Bottom Police Officers (x8): Has no special ability.
Third Party:
The Tattletale Strangler: Immune to night kills. Picks a player each night and kills them.

That concept is incredible, would play.
Also to KoolKat, that's a good adaptation of your train game for 12 players, I like it.

Actually it's the normal mystery game, since I couldn't fit the whole train concept into a 15-player game.

Haha, thanks.
It actually took a while to get it organized to my liking. Originally, Plankton was going to be a Third Party, but I thought he fit the villain role better. As for the character roles, I had to change them numerous times until they were perfect in my eyes. Overall, I'm impressed with what I came up with.
If there's anything that should be revised, please do tell me, I want to make this game as good as possible.

Yeah I know, but the overall gameplay is similar to it (though it was the mystery mechanic that I recognized, I guess).

A Lonely Voyage
12 players (3 Mafia, 4 Utility, 5 Townies)
Cardflip
Role Usage is optional, Traitor killing is optional.
If the amount of living Innocent members equals the amount of living Traitor members, the Traitors win.
All lynch vote targets must be designated in red, and if they are not, they will not count towards the lynching of that target.
It is time to take a lonely voyage... ACROSS SPACE!
-Traitors-
Traitor Leader: Decides with the other Traitors on who to kill each night, and is the only one that can send the kill confirmation PM to the host. Cardflips green when inspected or killed.
Cloaker: Decides with the other Traitors on who to kill each night. Can change his color only once throughout the entire game.
Traitor: Decides with the other Traitors on who to kill each night.
-Innocents-
Captain: Can choose to either host a second lynching during the day where a second player gets lynched, or can inspect any player each night, that player's color will be revealed to the Captain only. Can't activate both abilities in the same day/night cycle.
Doctor: Can choose a player each day, that player is immune to Traitor kills for the night, if the Bodyguard is targeted with this ability, it has no effect. Can bring a dead player back to life once throughout the entire game.
Bounty Hunter: Can choose to kill any player at night. If he kills an innocent, he loses his ability for one night.
Bodyguard: Can choose a player each day, if that player would be killed that night, the Bodyguard dies instead.
Passenger (x5): A normal player with no special abilities. They vote each day to get someone lynched.
The Traitors win if the amount of living Innocent members equals the amount of living Traitor members.
The Innocents win if they kill off all of the Traitors.
If they Captain wishes to hold a second lynching, they must PM the host during the night with that request, and when the day starts an announcement will be made that a second lynching is being held, allowing players to vote for two targets to be lynched instead of one.

For the upcoming Mafia 10A or B, which apparently should have 10 - 15 players. (Oh yeah, Nien cannot be the host for the third time for this host sign-up.)
M10 - "Plain Old" Murders
14 players
Cardflip game
Private votes
Note: When the Assassinator and the Accomplice is killed, the game ends. There is no need to kill the Gossiper, and also, the third parties are generally sided with both The Murderers and The Town. Also, when the game reaches the 4th Night Phase, the Assassinator will (somehow) blow up the town just to save his OTHER accomplice, causing a game over to The Town.
The Murderers (All of them know the identity of all their teammates.)
Assassinator: Can kill a player each night. When inspected or lynched, he cardflips green. When he is killed, he can pass his role to either the Accomplice or the "Second" Accomplice.
Accomplice: When the assassinator is killed, the Accomplice takes on his role and color.
Gossiper: Can paint a player's color red, green or yellow every night.
The Town
Policeman: Can inspect a player each night for their color.
Doctor: Can heal a player at night.
Janitor: Can choose a player each night. That player will then be cleaned and will return to his original color, if he has been painted.
Townie: Votes each day to get someone lynched.
Townie: Votes each day to get someone lynched.
Townie: Votes each day to get someone lynched.
Townie: Votes each day to get someone lynched.
Townie: Votes each day to get someone lynched.
Townie: Votes each day to get someone lynched.
Winning conditions: The "Second" Accomplice and The Murderers must be killed.
THIRD PARTIES
"Second" Accomplice: Seems like a normal Accomplice, but if he is chosen to take the Assassinator's role, he will instantly kill one random player, and he will also flip green anytime during the game after that.
Mercenary: If he gets visited by a player, he gets hired, and the host will send a PM to that player that he has hired the Mercenary. After that, that player can choose to let the Mercenary kill someone.
Winning conditions: Their numbers must be equal to The Town, and all The Murderers must be killed.

Looks good to me, but as for the cardflip colors I'd suggest changing green to a darker color and yellow to something less eye-searing, it's pretty hard to tell the difference between green and yellow at first glance and you can barely read yellow.

I agree with all of them except the ones I italicized. Those font colors are hard to read.

Can you guys give some criticism on mine? I am going to submit it for M10, and I need to know where I can improve it, so that I can fix it to the best of my ability before M10 host signups.
