I don't think I did get that message, MechaLxNiiur. Could you please send it again? Anyway, thanks for your comment and the nice things you said!

Also, this project is now nearly 60% complete.
That grass tileset...where did you get it? Reason I ask because that tileset was in foresquad's SMW hack a few years ago. Did you got permission from him? Also from GamePixel since he made the 30 degree slopes?

Oh my god wow. Do realize that he has stolen graphics from SMW hack authors before. Ex 1: Used graphics from Mario's Adventure on the Southern Continent that I saw in his Sig in 2013. Quite shameful of he.
As for you, SuperMario7, make sure you inspect your level designers' usage of graphics. You don't want to be unintentionally stealing content from other authors.

As long as he doesn't take credit for making it himself and the original creator isn't too strict on crediting, I don't see much harm. It's always a good idea to give credit if you don't ask for permission, though.

As TNTimelord said, it's not a big deal unless the creator is strict about those graphics. If someone has a really hard time with me or one of my level designers using their graphics, we can work something out, but it's really not a big problem.

Maury300 really not is stealing graphics, when I worked on my second level of SML, I checked the Maury300's GFX Pack (Only I have access to it) these GFX's called my attention and I worked a level with these graphics, I assumed Maury300 was the author because they were in your graphics package, but perhaps proved wrong, I'll talk to him to tell me if he made those graphics or he take from somewhere else, but I do not see much importance to this.

You should at least ask the author for permission instead of just taking his tileset and going with an "everything will be fine... probably." attitude.

New screens are out! There are screenshots of my CC9 entry, Pirate Paradise, as well as a video made Lx Xzit of a level made by Dark-Mecha77. Please comment/give suggestions, it really helps!
CC7 Screenshots:
Video:
Kyo: If there was an easy way to get in touch with the graphic's creators, then yes, I would ask for permission. But the thing is, someone would have to trace back so much information to get to the original source, since we don't even know the original creator of the graphics or how to contact him/her.

Is there something wrong with me if I think of reghrhre's World 5 level (forgot the name =P) whenever I see that screenshot? It really is similar, same background, uses ships instead of tanks, but it resembles it nevertheless. It looks fine though.

Well, The Ships From World 2 "Operation Keel", The Background From World 5 "Shoreside Vessels". I think :/.

Pivot40Channel: Thanks!
Natsu: I never really thought of that level when designing it. I just looked up the level your talking about and it does resemble it a bit, but the atmosphere seems totally different to me despite the two levels having similar themes.
TheUltimateKyogre: Thank you as well!

Sorry for the lack of progress lately, I've been busy with TI3 and now my CC10 level (which will appear in this project). Anyway, here are some new screenshots from a level I just recently finished, after being started about 1 year ago...

The level is very good, I like the way the graphics fit together, and I think the SMB3 bushes they would look better on white, and good luck with the CC10! BTW still you have not told me if you need fastly the level of lava, and wow 75% finished, continue the good work!

Thanks! I'll make the bushes white and see how it looks. You don't need to work too quickly on the lava level (sorry I guess I forgot to respond to that part), but maybe you could finish it soon after the contest is over? (Or sooner of course!)
