Lol, I should had known that Ermal would had drop me down in places. I'm still glad that my first time in a level contest like this went to Tier 3. Yet... If Ermal's ratings wasn't there, I would had gone up to Tier 4 more likely.

If Emral screwed up the rating of pretty much all levels, then what's the problem.

he screwed up 20 so far
that's enough to call it a problem

But that means he generally dragged down the scores. It doesn't advantage or disadvantage anyone.

Then why did Valtteri remove castlewars' review of Ace's level?

I have a feeling that someone's level will get a good score from Ermal.

Ermal did dragged down our level to a low tier.

That was because he didn't give legitimate reasons, like harsh language not being typical for a classic mario level.
I tried legitimating all my scores and can tell you why they're so low: I put the standard "decent" level on 5. Normally people go with 7 or something like this but I figured... I don't know. I just kinda went with it. Therefore all my scores are set around that basis, with stuff like design, atmosphere, fun factor, creative ideas, length/difficulty balance influencing all of this.
It is true that I gave outstandingly low scores for some of these levels which other judges considered to be good, but in my eyes those just weren't just that.

Levels only get a good score because they're good. If you start shouting out bias once we get to the higher tiers, I suggest you play the level for yourself first.

once again
you made good points in your reviews
but the actual score you gave made no sense considering it

Literally, almost every contest, there is always something about how "one of the judges isn't scoring the levels high enough and that isn't okay." Or they get hate for other reasons about something other than their scores. First it happened to Kyo a bit, then SuperMario7, then castlewars in the previous contest (who was also criticized for his reviews as well), now Emeral. We all need to accept the opinions of the judges and move on.

The issue is many people feel that, so far, your criticism doesn't match up with the points you gave to the level.

You essentially gave the same review as Chad for Blueoak's level but gave a 2/10 instead of a 6/10.

Because it didn't make any sense. But Emral did have valid points, and is generally quite strict. This situation is completely different.

9 out of 10 wasn't good?
Blueoak wrote:he didn't drag down EVERYONE though

He didn't drag down people with levels that he liked. You need to understand that it's his opinion. If he didn't enjoy your level as much as other judges did, then that's that. You don't need to accuse him for being a bad judge because of that. He did have valid points, and that's what counts. Nothing will happen if you keep complaining. As I said, you aren't accomplishing anything but making yourself look like a fool who can't accept an opinion and starts to rebel because of it.

I agree so much to this. It's horribly annoying how some people feel the urge to constantly complain when they disagree with an opinion.

I'll be making a list that doesn't include a score from each certain kind of person once all the scores are listed to see if they do make an difference. Bossedit and Ermal's score would make big changes.

Emral should be counted out as a judge, but of course Valtteri won't do that.

As long as there are good points being made for the low scores, I see no problem with them. But yeah, Emral does give pretty low scores. He had literally nothing to complain about my level, even said it was very fun, and yet still only gave me a 7/10. :/

Also, I still feel like a score of 3.2 just for the reason "Extremely difficult playing as the plumbers" is a bit mean. But TNTtimelord has given most other people fair scores as well so far, so I guess I can live with it.

Oh yeah, one more thing. Valtteri (or anyone else who's able to edit the first post), could you change my level name (#46) to "Touch Fuzzy Get Done"? It somehow says "Touchy Fuzzy Get Done" there.

What's that main point of yours? That Emral's reviews suck? That you got a bad score? That you disagree with Emral? That Emral's reviews don't match the scores? Also, using "use proper grammar" as counterargument is quite poor. It's not even his fault. He's learning english.
