Since I'm on mobile I can't post a pic but as ground goes into a wall there should be a tile to make the ground end inside the wall, if that makes any sense. It is a missing tile in the tileset I guess. (Sorry for the bad description I'll post a pic showing what I mean as soon as I get to my computer).

Well, if it's supposed to be this way, ok, and it isn't too big of a deal, but I'd ask one of the graphic designers to make these blocks if I were you. You'd just have to copy the grass part of a cliff over the fill (I can't do this right now since I'm on vacation until 8/17).

It isnt really like that in the game unfortunately :[

Theres not much Bgo variety because nintendo is more into gameplay than aesthetics.

Also cutoffs where? If you could circle them that would be great.

On the GB it looked better because there is no color and the stones and grass kinda blend together. And making a tile the would go there is no work at all.

Yeah, but you don't necessarily need to make it exactly like in the game.

Why not?

Why do I have to change the graphics?

Don't act like doing such a tile would be too much work lol. It's a work of 5 mins max.
And again, the GB had graphical limitations so these blocks weren't able to be stored/they had other priorities. You could also argue: "Why do we need color?", "Why do we need WL enemies?". It's just a little detail that makes the level more appealing. Also it looked better withour color because the grass and the ground pattern kinda blended together, but it's not that way with color. People also have custom GFX for even SMB3 ground so you can place pipes etc there without problems. It's no big deal to change this, so don't act like it is.

I will recolor the Mario (SML2) to Fire Mario. Add me as a graphics designer.

Someone's already making Mario, if you want to help with the tile cutoff you can.
