Honestly though, this is probably the most united we've ever been since the original forums. Joey may not be perfect, but he did a hell of a job bringing us back together. Thanks, Joey.
Knux's and Val's are as relevant as a random forum made by a random user now. (no offense, really, no offense)

but yeah, joey's a pretty good admin.

Sure, this isn't the only SMBX forum, but it's the only main SMBX forum. We haven't had that since TrekWeb.

Don't yo compare this to TrekWeb's. This is more like forums made by random user called Joey who somehow happened to get everyone here.
Similar to Knux's forums. This one is a visual copy of redigit's, though.

It's good to have everything in one place btw tho probably I guess maybe.

There isn't a 'main' SMBX forum. At least, not unless Redigit declares it one, which will, no shit, not happen any time soon.

I would consider this as the new main smbx forum. First off, it's the biggest smbx forum currently. Second, it has the style of the first smbx forum from Redigit. Third, it came with a new update of smbx. That update isn't something major, but it's something. Fourth, in that update this website is shown. We don't need to call Redigit for declaring this one as the main one.

Like Redigit would even care about this anyway.

Notice that I said "main" and not "official". I do consider these forums official, but that wasn't the point I was trying to make.

Redigit has told me that if he ever needs to post anything related to SMBX, he'll make an account here.

Seeing as how almost everyone who's still part of the community is registered here, I'd say that these forums are pretty official, especially considering that thing that Joey just said about Redigit. We're probably more stable that we've ever been since the pre-Kathy twins days. That's pretty impressive, Joey.

Just because he said that then, it doesn't make this place any more official or main. Not unless Redigit himself suddenly starts hosting the site and becomes admin.

And why? Like, it doesn't even matter. Whether this forum is the main or official one won't change this one in any way, especially because it's nowhere stated that it's main or official.

If you don't want to make others wonder why you care, quit complaining and move on. It's just annoying, and it's completely pointless as well.

Oh yeah, your forum is the biggest smbx forum currently. I'm taking that back. But it's not active in terms of smbx currently, at least not that much. It's more active in TaoK and other stuff, unless that changed as well since my last visit which was like four or five days ago. But either way, this is the most active smbx based forum, so I would consider this one as the main smbx forum, but everyone should decide that for themselves instead of throwing it into everyone's faces.

Redigit said either CaptainTrek or I could hold the torch back in 2010, and CT dropped it, and I picked it up.

It's always been assumed between that point up until the very end of 2013 that I was the leader.
That never happened. Redigit was willing to pass the torch on to either you or CaptainTrek; CaptainTrek took it and had it for 7 months until Redigit blew it out (by saying "I don't think I'm passing the torch on to any more forums" during TrekWeb's second outage). Your forums were never deemed official by the torch - only Redigit's, bikcmp's, and CaptainTrek's were.

False.
It is the most active, though.
Knux wrote:The official SMBX forum timeline, in my opinion, is this:

1. Original forums (2009-10)
2. Bikcmp* (2010)
3. CaptainTrek (2010-11)
4. FallingSnow's forums (2011)
5. Knux Forums (2011-13)
6. This (2014-)

*if you count that one
Fixed because TrekWeb didn't end until well into 2011. I added in FallingSnow's forums because they were, more or less, the direct continuation of TrekWeb. If I remember correctly, the whole deal was "TrekWeb's dying, so go here or go to Knux's". That's how I saw it, I guess. They were as much official as yours were, just less active. Also, bikcmp's forums were most definitely official.

I only counted FallingSnow's because it was a direct continuation of TrekWeb (counting SMBX United after that would be unnecessary).

Spam100 caused a 15 minute spam attack around October 2010 and then they deleted the posts. Later in the year, Conker Belmont was promoted to administrator to prevent against spam attacks we thought were going to happen (or maybe there was another small attack and the staff was cautious), but I don't remember anything coming of it.

Fair enough, good graphic. There should at least be a black line connecting you and Snow, though. And what about one connecting you to Cloud?

Knux's forum didn't merge into Joey's forum. It's still here. The original idea was that SMBX:R would move to Joey's forum and that would be the main place for the SMBX community, while Knux's would just be a place for TAoK. Knux's are still around; it's just that the forum is starting to die out because they've lost all their traffic to this one, even if it's become SMBX again.
