Tried it and it's a mess.
So it turns out I can import the .blend files in to Unity, which fixed a lot of problems.

I really love the color shading on the Black Mage's clothing. It definitely brings out a more lively realistic vibe.

Pretty good for practice, but for future reference, only speed up the swing as it reaches the peak of the swing, which is just above the head, you kind of want to take gravity into account, as it's slightly harder to swing something upward that is already in the air as you have to straighten it out midair, which is harder to do the higher up it is as you are dragging more weight.

I 'gree with 8bit'shroom. that sword should speed only when it above guy's head. and why do the guy's feet look like the move back?
