Yes, but SMBX is too limited, you can use that, or use a Mario Cat playable that fly.

Imo,a cat mario replacing super mario would be weird to play as was a powerup not giving you any abillities other than giving you one more HP unless you use lunalua with which you can even remove the flight option of raccoon or tanooki mario,so I recommend sprite-swapping one of these powerups.Furthermore, I want to ask you if you just plan a sprite-swap or if you even want to immitate the real cat mario abilities using lua.
