Undertale itself is overrated, but Toby Fox used lietmotifs really well.
Do you even know what the word overlooked means?arcade999 wrote:yeah, he get the success he deserves, not like undertale wich is abusively and constantly overrated and overlookedHenryRichard wrote:He's not overrated because he is actually that good.
yeah, and it is exactly what undertale is, like see, there is a way to like something without being too insaneSnessy the duck wrote:Do you even know what the word overlooked means?arcade999 wrote:yeah, he get the success he deserves, not like undertale wich is abusively and constantly overrated and overlookedHenryRichard wrote:He's not overrated because he is actually that good.
I never got why was this game so popular, maybe it has a great gameplay and everything, but the mix between disney and jrpg's is just not fiiting in my head, and it make it super hard for me to take it seriously honestlyMarioRPGExpert93 wrote:I think Kingdom Hearts should never be a hit RPG game by freaking Disney & Square soft!
reason why I think that!: show

I also feel like you are taking complaints about undertale too personnally in the way you respond, wich you shouldn't
this description doesn't fit undertale at all, and im pretty sure this isn't what you meant.a quick google search wrote:overlook

I hate it because it is everywhere and is overexposed with an insane fanbase, and the whole fucking trend is not even dead if that can better explain what I meanRudeGuy07 wrote:arcade999 wrote: yeah, and it is exactly what undertale is, like see, there is a way to like something without being too insane

also, honestly your hate for undertale is becoming ridicolous.

that's not an opinion, that was the original goal before capcom put their dick back in their hand and decided to fuck up the x series more than they already tried with x5Artemis008 wrote:Megaman X should have ended at X5
I thought X5 was a great game, it just had some very questionable design choices that keep it from really being the swan song they hoped for. Luckily, thanks to the internet there's patches that fix those issues. Seriously, I've got my game hacked to remove Alia's stupid fucking tutorial shit, make it so you get both the 4th armor and zero's gun thing no matter who you choice in the intro, and the characters share health upgrades. With those problems fixed, the game is actually a lot of fun to play.NightKawata wrote:undertale was flappy bird syndrome because a bunch of tumblr-fucks really thought it hit home with them and they all went nuts dragging everybody down with them
undertale is fine as a game and it's ok but it certainly wasn't the best game of 2015, it was a neat 2-3 hour rpg with "oh don't kill anyone" or "lol let's grind to make it not be fun because killing is grinding" and that's about all she wrote there
anybody who tells you 2015 had no good games is dumb, every year typically has a few good ones, hidden gems or not
moving on kiddos, this is about unpopular game opinions and i don't know what the fuck is going on in that last array of messages
i think sonic forces is gonna be fine, it's going to deal with the people completely one-sided to mania and get bashed to hell and back if it doesn't appeal to those people's expectations but hey, OOPS
i think donkey kong 64 is a shitty game
i think the mario [and luigi] rpg games have gotten really strange and/or bad as of recently, and i'm only half-excited to see superstar saga get remade just for the sake of a superstar saga remake, it kind of pisses me off that they're going to dream-team-ify it
that's not an opinion, that was the original goal before capcom put their dick back in their hand and decided to fuck up the x series more than they already tried with x5Artemis008 wrote:Megaman X should have ended at X5
x6 is a completely freakish title and is multiple steps backwards in everything but the music; i will say, x6 has some really good songs, but the overall game is awkward/hard to play unless you look into exploiting it, and unlike x5, you pretty much need an x armor to not get your ass raped and fuck the gate stages piece of shit design there
I think X6's plot would have made a good side story if zero didn't show up. X7 is a disaster and X8 is mediocre.Magician wrote:MMX didn't have to end; it just didn't need to be hijacked by an incredibly crappy plotline and more competent designers could have handled the evolution of the series better.
But this might be a true unpopular opinion: The Zero series and ZX games were just plain bad and I really don't understand the appeal of a vast majority of the music past the first X game.
X4 is really good if you can forgive the voice acting. X3 looked and sounded good, but they screwed up the level design big time.Magician wrote:X6 didn't need to be a side story. It just needed to be a good game. The story stopped being good after X2 and stopped mattering.
