Yeah. That's what I explained in the update. All of the existing 16bit retro graphics will be replaced with nsmbwii ones.

I am actually surprised with this comment section, tell me: Where is the clash? Apart from the player, there's nothing really clashing against each other. You aren't giving constructive criticism, you're giving pointless reasons to "improve" his project.

I may be late,but you really should change the NPCs and Player's graphics.They simply don't look good in combination with the New Super Mario Bros.Wii Graphics.
Do you think you could change them to NSMBWii graphics too?

you really should find a way to add more frames to the sprite. with this hd-ish look the animations looks pretty bad. other than this issue, everything looks very good!

Can you tell me which sprite you are exactly talking about? Because almost every npc has at least 15 frames for each movement at minimum and I doubt that there is an npc that has a bad looking aimation. Here are some of the npcs:

Nobody will "kill you" for using 38A, even the SMBX2 devs.Some people like 38A and some 2.0, as long as you are having fun, it doesn't matter which engine you are using.
