"Forum Wars" was a series of Adventures of Knux comics I made based off the popular Star Wars films. Which really have nothing to do with Mario.

It's not that I can't take a joke, it's just that it's mesmerizing to me that even staff members ( I think? ) are in it.

Your joke was, I guess, too smart for me. It only got me confused.

The biggest joke here is the hatred and disdain for Mario revealed in this thread.

I'm not sure if you noticed, but it wasn't even a mariohead who first suggested the game should look like Mario. You can tell because he posted a picture of super Mario world, a non-canon game in the series.

Actually, no (aside from other marioposting threads that have a unique existence, such as "A Grass Level"), and that's a fair point. Let's keep it that way, though.

While everyone is calmed down a bit I would like to take the opportunity to say I love Super Mario Bros

Just another supporter here. Been a Mario fan since I was a kid.

Also, who doesn't love the game that saved video games? Maybe gamers that don't know what really is a good game. My favorite is Super Mario 64 DS, though.

yeah, same, my favourite mario game is Dr. Mario 64. Although its inclusion in the canon is highly debated, I like to imagine that Mario really did become a doctor at some point. It would only add to the long list of things he's great at, thus making him an even BETTER character.
