Great! I'll also need to know whether it's still 1.3 compatible, if not I'll have to download SMBX2 again. Also probably don't expect more levels from me, I love playing but I can't immerse into the editor and the flood of technicalities and custom graphics etc.

Revisions are complete. Tweaks, more paths, some custom GFX. Uploaded. Get back to me when you can Cedur.

I'll just restart from scratch using the link in the PM named "last one". That's still the correct one right?
Also: Is Grant Atlus indeed a misspelling of "grand atlas"?

Yes your right it is a purposeful misspelling of that haha. I decided to remove the download link until your feedback is received so I'll PM the episode again.

The complete revamping of this notorious old episode is complete. Should be a lot more fun.

Finally! Why the renaming though? What changes have you made beyond my notes?

I used just about every observation in your notes they were very helpful in finding the really big flaws. In the end however I realized it was time to make the storyline make a bit of sense. Needed a name change. Quite a lot has been added!

Was this already updated?
also
the first level is unbeatable?
at the end of the section I clip through the block next to the moving platform and get stuck with a king boo
I used a cheat to get into the door and I'm left with an unreachable pipe and two hidden walls

TheNewGuy haha wow nice on that find! I'll fix it. Pretty easy to avoid though.
Yea its like the 5th remake or somthing rediculous, probably still has a few glitches but it should play solid otherwise.

I even thought I couldn't get through the wall at all. I also cheated to get past the intro level.
EDIT: In Cloud 99 there's also a missing vine segment. Overall the levels on the bottom route are still substandard (too short, too pale) compared with what's to come later.

Ambush!! - another broken level (and a new one at that). After taking down the third wave of homing enemies, nothing happens.
My honest impression is that you've rushed a bit towards the revision and I still see some things pointed out in my notes unfixed. The new backgrounds you chose are also an eyesore for the most part.

Ah yes, in Ambush a key falls to the far right once the enemies are defeated.
There isn't much unchecked from your list. I left fire mario's skin the way it but just about everything else was fixed I'm surprised you haven't noticed.
Also about the Psychedelic backgrounds, I knew that would be a complaint because sometimes it seems to hide npc's and it looks kind of messy. it was tough finding ones that wouldn't do that, in the end I kept using them to a minimum and in zones that were not tough. I may remove some if I decide to make an update later on. Let me know what else comes up

The impression is that they were not used at a minimum but instead replaced some normal backgrounds on every occasion.
Just think about at which places they really make sense. It mostly just comes down to inner areas. I've seen it twice in a desert level.
and what happened to all the checkpoints?

There seems to be no exit at Ghost King's Monolith. Any reason to why it doesn't appear?

Cedur all the checkpoints were upgraded to the Mushroom Genie Graphic. In Ghost King's Monolith all ya gotta do is talk to the Genie an smb2 exit appears. Is the Genie somehow invisable to you?
I changed around a few backgrounds also noticed in hike to coco peaks was still missing 2 A coins and theres a boss thats easy to glitch out so a minor update was issued today.
I may eventually post a last update if there is feedback that warrants it.

The Mystery Gate exit still doesn't work. It still doesn't spawn the path to the star warp.
And to ask preemptively, is there now a way back after clearing NXRD 3D-Palace?

Yup there is a way back my good man. Just walk offscreen when you enter Wart's Carnival, beating the level also opens it I think. It leads to the star behind Mystery Gate. Mystery Gate is just there as a buffer and to collect a Star.

The community was right from the beginning. The episode was clashy and unpolished.
Its still the same old episode but now it has what it needed from the beginning.
Still the episode uses the vanilla graphical resources along with custom GFX.
Please provide examples if you think there is clashing.
I thought you intentonnally did this to give the episode a a weird and surrealistic dream feel to it.

The weird and surrealistic dream feel is still there of course.
