You're wrong. Mechdragon's right. The only "box avatar" which works on profile pages is Narumi's. They used transparency, rather than solid grey.

Why are we arguing over the transparency of box avatars?

Also, I actually really like how my avatar turned out. I only used a mouse and PaintTool SAI.

I kind of like the way that the box (with transparency) fades in on the profile page, actually.

Also edited the transparency of the box. Now it looks a little better than before.
