Well, then it's fine. Rather minor anyway.

Kep just mixed 2-5 different tilesets without recoloring them!
seriously though, don't mix tilesets if they don't look the same.

Especially since some of them serve the exact same purpose. Also, why is there a tree (?) on the ship.

It isn't. It's on the unseen land behind it. (Notice the rock-ish grassland tiles "on top" of the ship)

I turned the 8-bit Peterchy by Squishy Rex and turned it into it's wily war sprite, I recolored green stache's Torizo to look like it's golden variant and Mudkips Dragon to look like it's upper norfair counterpart. There's more though, such as the Wood-Omb and h2643.

Some things look way too similar to this:

Anyway, that sprite of me is funny, haven't expected this! Oh, and is that Krazykat on the mushroom platform?

I actually took it from that sheet. And yes, that is Krazykat on the mushroom. Original by Imaynotbehere4long and Capcom, outlines added by me.

Ok then.
---------------------
If you remember one tileset from SMB2, that appeared only during the victory cutscene, you probably remember that I ripped that tileset and Subcons as well, and released them in my Mi-Ni GFX pack 2 years ago.
You probably also remember how badly they were ripped, so I updated them:

Subcons and that platform are now ripped without any useless modifications!

And here I finally fixed these slopes (they aren't in original SMB2 by the way, but they're made by me).
Also, background now doesn't have any 1x1 pixels!

So in the future update of my graphics pack, expect lots of bug-fixes and other stuff too, like this.

When the fuck did that retarded rule get made?

And are you implying that I should make the level have no color variety at all? I mean that's what recoloring everything to look the same is, last time I checked.

In my opinion, it looks like a nice level. I'm completely fine with people mixing tilesets.

Only the thwomps are by me. Also would have posted this earlier, if it weren't for the forum getting DDoS'd.

look at the colors on that airship compared to the pilars, their colors clash with each other, and the two grass tilesets have two different colors as well, and I wasn't implying that the color has no variety, it's just that some colors aren't compatible with each other.
And jeez did you really have to make me look rude when you stated that sentence?

Here's something to think about.

The leves theme is brown and there's a monster that happens to be blue, should I turn him brown just because most of the gfx are brown?

The thing with levels now a days that piss me off is how everyone makes every single freaking thing in a level one single color.

I think that the airship colors should match each other. The grass tilesets are fine as they are, in fact I actually like the colors of the grass tilesets.

If the level's sole theme is being brown, you should probably recolor it. if it just so happens to be brown, you should take a color that doesn't look bad when compared to brown, especially no bright colors, maybe some darkish red or similar. Blue wouldn't fit too well imo since it's pretty bright.
