That looks pretty neat, there are however a few weird things going on there. First and formost, why are the bill blasters placed in such an erratic way? All of the groups of blasters aside from the single blaster next to the fifth pipe and the second to last set of blasters are placed with a 1-block gap inbetween them. That gap doesn't really serve any purpose aesthetical or practical and just creates alot of annoyance to players because there is a big possibility they fall into the gaps. Instead I would recommend placing the blasters next to each other (without any space between them) and possibly arrange them in a more ordened way (as blasters are placed there synthetically after all). Also, Is that a full level? im pretty sure that only takes around 2 minutes to beat and there really is no purpose to a checkpoint there.
This is like saying you should remove pits from your level because the player might fall in. It's an obstacle, it's meant to cause inconvenience.
Except the player can not properly die from it, making it less dangerous and more of a nuisance. If there would have been munchers or spikes there it wouln't have been an issue.
The player can die from it, because the cannons shoot bullets. Three out of those four setups have at least one active launcher whose path you'd have to jump into to escape.

Okey, I want to create a jungle town. There is my progress right now :
I think that the style-mixing isn't particulary brilliant here.
Do you like the level? What can I do to improve the Appearance.
Thanks in advance!

there is no download link for the level and you gave us only 1 screenshot. by the way, shouldn't you post this in another thread? i think the WIP graphics showcase thread might do.
for the screenshot itself, nice use of custom graphics, it fits the background and all, but that veggie shouldn't be on top of that house.
(why are you hating on the second player)

He's asking for feedback on the appearance. There's no WIP graphics in the screenshot. Why shouldn't the veggie be there?

This is because his post was originally a standalone thread in the levels forum which was later merged with this thread. See post subject.

What's the difference between the different coloured ninjis?

I am pretty sure he made every colour replace a different npc to do different things. That, however, isn't smart. There are eleven different types of ninji in that one screenshot. So either you just throw 11 (or more) different versions of the same npc graphic at the player or you introduce these 11+ recolored replacements using a huge wall of text in a sign. Either way I'd recommend fixing it by decreasing the amount of different spriteswaps.

It's not exactly your level, i'm also pretty sure the player can find out what each ninji does on their own. Also, atleast it's better than
them all being the same color. I don't exactly understand what isn't smart about making each one a different color, i was just trying to give
the level a sort of gimmick.

I think what he tried to say is that it would be confusing to some players about which Ninji does what, even if there are players that could figure it out. But yeah, this is kind of your idea, and yours alone, and I still think that different colored and different sized Niji are a nice break from the usual black kind.

Two things.
1) He was trying to give advice. As the developer you can only guess what players will think. Having people test and give feedback is a valuable tool for improving as a designer.
2) For a gimmick, instead of slapping down some reskins and calling it a day, try to take these reskins and do something fresh with them. Don't forget that NPC placement and level geometry go hand in hand and aren't to be seen as seperate things. Design your level in a way in which the structure of the level compliments the tools you're using. If you have SMW ninjis, for example, put them up on high ledges and have them ambush the player from above. Create paths with gaps on them which they can jump over but the player has to maneuver around. I'm sure each of these 11 enemies offers something you can do with them, so try to put effort into making the level something made for the enemies, not with the enemies.

1) I knew that, of course it is.
2) I was actually kind of trying to do that, it's just that you guys wouldn't really know what each ninji does as of yet.

You expect people to remember 11 different colors of the same exact NPCs that do different things and are most likely only important for one level. That's not a good.

Distinguishing between pyramid solid and nonsolid tiles is rather difficult here imo

Yeah, I agree about that. Also some parts of the level look kinda bland to me.
