The only idea, does not deal with adding new blocks, I hope the enemies go splash in the lava and water when you kill them. I have a heck of a time making enemies killing stuff with fire balls and watching them go splash.

you should keep us in with some pictures or video, that would be very interresting before the release :)

I really don't think that's worth the time it would take to do that

Err, and can't you guys just do custom splash sprites?
Maybe a selection of different splashes, too? Up to 3 or 5.

And you can't just do custom splash effects yourself? Just sprite-swap effect-114; I'm sure you can use Lua to resize it and change its frame-rate/number of frames.

You know how things slow down when in water? He wants that to happen to effects, and also do the splash effect that Mario and NPCs do.

SMBX 2.0's editor shows 1.3.0.1.

I wanted to test out the SMBX level editor, I know it's supposed to be in 2.0, but the editor shows 1.3.0.1, AKA the current version of the game. I'm going to look up for the reason. But for now...

That's not changed yet in this version also you don't need to change the thread title whenever you post.

2.0 Beta = PGE (New Editor) + SMBX 1.3.0.2 (Legacy Editor with LunaLua) + Awesomeness

The next release will have more stuff and more noticeable changes though

Welp, I though it was because I installed it wrong. So I have to Use PGE editor to make levels in 2.0?
Also, could the team update the editor into 2.0? It's confusing.
Finally, @Tinkerbell, it's a way to tell what's wrong or, in this case, who the main message is for.

You don't have to use PGE Editor, but if you don't want to deal with SMBX's ugly UI, limited features and bugs, then it's recomended to use it.

SMBX 1.3.0.2 will be automatically disabled in the next release, so it's recommended that you get accustomed to PGE now
