He used them when they were a thing. He doesn't use them anymore nowadays. Also, Chad would never consider criticism as offense.

Chad makes my favorite levels, especially with the great replay value and difficulty in my opinion.

Anyway, the hype is getting real.

I love playing Chad's levels. I don't even care how many time he uses the switch blocks!

His levels are pretty cool but the switch things finally got annoying on his third SML2 level. it got so repetitive his level didn't even get to the top 10.

...mmm. Maybe it didn't, but I still liked it!

Could the next contest's ToB feature an 'unusual' tier and a 'joke' tier, and any unusual levels and joke levels get their own lowest-to-highest placements in said tiers? It would make some people feel better because they would get placed further down the line, which would be better scores that way, without worrying about finding their level in the standard tiers.

A joke tier was actually done in ToB5. They probably won't repeat it this time because Quill's making this ToB, and Valtteri made ToB5.

Then what about an unusual levels tier? The levels that seem awkward to play or have a bad case of clash, I think they should have their own tier for a game or two. It's a neat concept should someone comes up with a new style of gameplay, or simply re-using a really weird style of gameplay, like the Block-Bollocks.

In my opinion, the next ToB should let the player get away with passing through the first few tiers without getting many stars. This is because a lot of people probably don't want to play levels that were scored low possibly because of excessive length, difficulty, or unfairness. I can never get through the ToB because I don't feel like dedicating a ton of time to all the hard, long, unfair levels of the first few tiers. I think as the game progresses and as the levels get better and better, more and more stars should be required to be collected. But for the first 3 tiers or so, just don't make the player collect that many stars to advance to the later tiers. I think this would be a better gameplay experience for most users.

I believe it's been delayed a couple days because of Quill's exams.

But we can be patient, right?

No, he still needs them so he can copypaste them for the next contest ;)

Yeah at first but in the latest version only 1 star is required from each level.

Val, It'd be great to include a complete save file in the next ToB episode. No offense, I don't care for most of the levels, especially not tier 1-2, so I don't want to waste my time on them. Cheating is a waste of time as well, yet I'd like to play them in the ToB episode to see what it's like.

Text files are a more ideal solution to back-up the rules.

I distributed a save file with every star and all the bosses alive, although privately. I didn't include it in the download because I kind of thought it would be unfair to the participants because people could skip all of their levels. But if it doesn't bother you, I can include a complete file next time.

Why not a .sav that only has the unuseful/joke/shitty levels completed?
