I think he is requesting the removal of the forum games section

We don't have a forum games section.

He is suggesting that forums and subforums with a lot of mindless posts or inactivity should be removed.

It might trigger an uproar if it was removed. The rp forum still has some meaning. The smbx community can get angry about little things sometimes. (no offense to anyone)

Most people who get angry ovee auch things are those who don't even use them. Or just want to bait.

What I am meaning is that something must be done with the Mafia and Fan-Fiction and roleplay sub fourms as there has been little, to no activity. Something must be done i.e. do something to increase activity or remove them in general. Put up a poll or a thread and ask people what should be sone with them, if you want to know what the community thinks of this, and their opinions on the matter.

Mafia will get a big game soon. It needs an interest spark and hopefully that will make it happen. As for roleplaying, I'm not sure - this is something we may remove unless we can figure out a way to do it so it won't devolve into nonsense.

Also, I removed the SoundCloud BBcode.

He means that the role-plays can only be Mario ones.

Well some people may not even want to limited yo nintendo or mario, some may want original stories or base it off of other companies, franchise, movies, books, misc...
Yet this cause most of the hype for roleplaying to go down as a result of only being mario related... it's sad that people could not work with the limited materials that was left, but that id how roleplaying died, that and lack of activity in story, in other words the both sides could not fill them out as there was not enough people from both sides....
Mafia has had many ups and downs, most of the players are actually banned, (we will noy talk about them as they were banned for reasons) and that made the number go down. And so more people left due to either too short amounts of games, not being able to host, or too large of games, so activity fled from there, and some people like I try and ask to bring it back even if they are small.

Still something might as well be done with the sub fourms, even if you have to get more game masters, which I would have recommended if we were going to do roleplays as they may need more people with experience roleplaying rather then mafia management.
Actually this brings up another idea, their needs to be a separation of game masters, as some people might only have experience with one or the other... They could have experience eith both mafia and roleplaying, but some people might not... It's just an idea, but it could work out if the fan-fiction and roleplaying and Mafia subfourms are still going to be there.

The Marioverse restriction was in place for the first RP only (it would then have been open to Nintendoverse after that). Removing such restrictions would only open it up to nonsense regardless. The first RP failed because I'm not experienced running RPs, but it also showed that there wasn't a lot of interest in crafting good characters and story contributions. The people that participated were great and were exactly what the forum needed, don't get me wrong, but that attitude just doesn't seem to be shared by others here. This is supported by all of the stuff that was posted in the forum back in early 2014.

That's where the Game Masters should moderate what games are and aren't acceptable.
