Red multiplies
Yellow level-wraps
Purple rebounds off walls
Green re-aligns its trajectory every few seconds
Cyan glitches around
Pink slows down
Blue teleports around
White is pure
Turquoise is drunk
Orange is fast
Black explodes

The API is in Beta 3, but it's basically unusable and all compatibility with that version of the API will break.

How evil. I love it!

Gonna have to think of an enemy to replace each Rinka as well though...
Or...isn't it possible using LunaLua to put one NPcs AI/movement patterns on different NPCs?

They're all NPC 210. In the future I want to make a window in PGE that lets you easily select the type.

Prepare for more rinka filled fights.

Now in rainbow cluster**** edition.

Maybe you could make these into rinka bosses!
You could use those rinka-proof blocks as shields or something. Also, are those blocks solid or walk-through?

They're the 1F0 tile from SMW and in SMBX Beta 3 called "Gliding Block". Test it out with all kinds of NPCs!

Imagine Super Mario Bros. 1 with Mother Brain fights instead of Bowsers, and each world's Mother Brain has a different type of Rinka!! Maybe I'll try that out, and make a weird linear Samus-only episode.

He means the turquoise rinkas won't move in a staight line.

Just downloaded this... should have checked to see if it was released earlier. Looking forward to playing with it and seeing what's changed since Beta 2. I suppose I should hunt around for a change log. I'm sure there's one posted SOMEWHERE, but I have yet to find it.

The topic of this thread: SMBX 2.0 beta 3. Still haven't had a chance to play with it, due to an unrelated project taking up computer time.

I think that I won't be able to play this, because of my Toshiba Laptop. It has Pentium(R)Dual-Core CPU with 4.00 GB. It makes me really upset too, since everyone will probably be making more and more 2.0 levels.

That's a better PC than some other people here are using... The main question is its age, since the engine relies on non-ancient versions of opengl.

It's from seven years ago. So you could be right. Even when I play SMBX 1.3.0.1 I do get some lag, mostly because of too many things on the screen.

I know MECHDRAGON was able to get SMBX working on a 10 year old PC. I think it would be a good idea to get a newer PC though so that it lags less.

I have a pretty new computer, but sometimes the music will lag, even in SMBX.

nah but seriously modern pentium's aren't terrible. i even played for years on a Pentium 4 (long before SMBX 2.0 or LunaLua were a glimmer in anyone's eyes).
