yay for lame name.
apparently wohlstand's engine doesn't render some foreground bgos, that's why the clouds are cutoff in this screen:

I am loving this! The background is giving it an amazing feel.

Wait.. how did you put charging chuck in there? O.o i don't see him listed in the NPCs for the editor.
With GFX, layers and events you can make a charging chuck in SMBX.
:/ okay...

The Bowser's Statue Face hovers over the Castle Walls at the top. This looks very good. I like how it is contructed so far.

I'm pretty much done with the tiles for my cave.. this is like the 3rd iteration of the tiles for my cave.
Thinking about adding some stones laying about on the surface of the ground but that's about it.

As for the pipes.. i was trying to make them stand out more is all.
You know how the vases have paterns from SMB2?
Well i thought pipes with pasterns might like cool.

The pipes look awesome!

And I love the pattern on your cave tiles, too.

Did you make that yourself? I can be a level designer for you btw, I can probably only make 5 good levels since Im in a project of my own.

The dirt under the surface i made, the surface is an edit.
The background was mostly done by hand, the water fall is from Kirby's Adventure.
The bats are from Kirby and the amazing mirror.
The pipe was hand drawn.
I don't think i need anyone to make levels for me really.

One thing that bugs the HELL out of me though about SMBX is how rather than a tile set where a lot of things are grouped together in one sheet like RPG Maker does, we have all these different scattered tiles that have to be edited one at a time.. and i gotta say.. it gives me a HUGE F'ing head ache, and i wish to heck and back that i could just make everything in one total tileset.. it would make working on this stuff far less cumbersome and headache inducing.

Theres a cool neat trick if you havnt heard of it, if you hold shift while placing ur blocks and pressing a direction you can place em super fast.

@Superiorstar: Interesting. I get the exploration feeling on that screenshot somehow, maybe because I was playing LoZ - Oot about 5 minutes ago. By the way, there's a slight cutoff between the Bowser Statue head and the wall.
