Yea, because PGE detects all masks by "<name>m.<ext>" filename template unlike SMBX which looking for than masks which requested internally in the VB code. I put fixed door and I also fixed some other stuff which currently presented in the "SMBX 1.3" config pack

Thanks litchh, I'm glad you like it. The sprites themselves are composed of the colours from the SMB3 palette and the SMB1 looking effect is most likely because Spectrum games primarily used the outline as heavy dithering shading as well. I plan on another version which removes the black dithering and remasters the sprites into a proper SMB3 style.
Also a few pages back you'll find a link to the DK sprite.
