I'm afraid the boss level looks tacky because
A. Blaze Jr has 4x4 or more pixels. This paint.net plugin can easily fix that

2. Playing a level while there's a giant blaze jr in the back? He just let's you do that?
If you want to make him scary I'd remove him from the background and have his hand try to reach at you while you're playing the level (sprites similar to Wart's hand out of the book in DDP)

True. Thanks Superiorstar. But I admit, he's got a point. But for that, I'd need more shading. And if PGW can have a giant YI Baby Bowser, then maybe, just maybe... This would be a boss rather than a mere scary background walking towards you from afar. But I would need him to be a boss indeed. Currently, he's just a background in the level. But hey, I did said it's the earliest development of these levels.

Thank you SO MUCH! I wasn't even aware something like this existed, but it's AWESOME  I've also updated my screenshot using that plugin  still could use a little bit of work, but you've REALLY helped me out here

My balloons have shading, while your are just ripped from a spritesheet or something. And your rip doesn't have Spikes, "Logs", and those blue "Ceiling" things, while my does.

The "celling things" are all over my screenshot. and I was gonna rip the spikes and log but it would take a while. but I still ripped it before you did so why are we arguing.
