elaborate please.
I think he means a built-in episode like Invasion 2.
I didn't know there was a story mode in Version 2.

The
"Story Mode" episode was always in SMBX since the V1.0.0.

I have a problem with moving layers
I set an event so a layer of lava starts moving up after passing a point.
But instead, the lava rises on its own. Auto start isnt checked, so i have no idea what's causing it.

I can take a look at the level if you provide a download link.

At that specific point, what are you intended to use to trigger the event?

It's called "default episode" since it automatically comes with the download, yet it's an episode like every other. Just for future reference.

Can not reproduce. Make an empty level, make a layer, set it to move upwards in a new event that isn't triggered anywhere. Then gradually make that setup more like the setup that breaks to identify the issue.

so I basically recreated the level from scratch block for block, could not reproduce. I ended up replacing the buggy one with the new one.
But what I COULD reproduce was: Yoshi eating snake blocks

It's not removed, it's not implemented with LunaTester.
However, out of SMBX2, with experimental PGE Engine this thing works, but, partially: you can place new objects only.

You can't edit the level to cut your way through the level when facing a bug, yes. This is just a very mild inconvenience, there are many restart options in the new luna tester

This is looking pretty good, but the problem is I won't be able to get back into SMBX until I get a new computer because the files keep getting messed up somehow, or at least that's what I assume is happening because McAfee has marked it as suspicious. Also, scans are done outside of my control by my grandfather, so I can't really prevent it from happening.

if you haven't heard already, antivirus responses for the new builds are common for everyone. Just disable it temporarily if you can't get it to run otherwise

FTR, McAfee is as bad as AVG, so anyone who has those 'anti-virus' programs installed, you're in for a world of hurt in the coming months...
UNINSTALL NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.
Anyway, I haven't had the chance to look into the update (yet), but I will at some point, when I can actually spend six, seven uninterrupted hours in debug mode.

There is nothing on my screen when I load it.

I can't figure out what the problem is.

My grandfather runs it while I am away without my consent so like there is no way I can disable it, he uses a McAffe Fixmestick.
I'm thinking I am going to have to keep it at my moms or find another circumvention, otherwise I can't use these newer versions.

Trying to play with a controller crashes the game.

Which begs the question of why every fanmade game seems to trigger antivirus software but Steam games don't. Is there a whitelist of some kind?
