Well, I had a pretty bad result, I can retry with the next CC. I understood my mistakes and I knew why I was in this tier.

So what I'm seeing here is no one made an even decently average level?

Except everything above 42 seems to be at least "not bad" in their eyes, so I dunno what you're getting at
also I dreamt that I got 8th place last week, so this naturally means I'm getting 32nd, let's goooooo

From what I've read of the reviews so far, a common response appears to be that the levels aren't necessarily bad but lacking. They might not have a clear direction of where they'd like to take their level. Or, if there is something that could set the level apart, then it isn't fleshed out or solid enough. Or it just hurts the player experience rather than adding to it.

The levels in this category are either deeply flawed in concept or execution (Elemental;Earth, Groove Gauntlet, chateou de whatever) or just kind of... shallow. Most of the levels just lacked identity/substance or commited some pretty big design flaws (like all of the deeply flawed levels, the backtracking in Pipe Reservoir etc). I think a general advice to the shallow levels would be picking a decent theme and running with it, but they also shoudln't try to overdo it because that leads to levels like Groove Gauntlet if you're not experienced enough. Some of the later levels do this quite well.

I think that's something that can come in handy for me in the future, I don't think I'll be making any open levels again after my mistake.
