(and NO, i don't plan on smoking)

It started when she was 9. Her "friends" asked her if she wanted one that one day at middle school. it was when she was 13 when her parents found out,
She smoked up about a pack a day and soon it was her son's graduation coming soon but her doc said she has COPD(Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
in short an emphysema and bronchitis combination. The doc then said she had the lungs of a 77 year old yet she's 45!

She quit smoking twice now,
used Chantex and Cold turkey

Then one day started smoking again because of work stress.

Secondhand-smoking filling my room and also all throughout the other rooms of my home.

i fear my cat Tabitha might get inflicted as well

whom am i referring to? My mother, and myself

So I smoked a cigar the other day...

Probably fucked it up real bad, but it wasn't terrible.

Have any of you ever smoked a cigar?

Not really but E-Cigarettes. Not that fine for me i only smoke 1 Pack i don't really smoke any other ones like Malboro and stuff.

(in short Cigarettes are just as bad as Smoking Weed-Google it sometime, see if I'm wrong)

All i say is: to all those who smoke this,

1) by you Smoking your giving advertisement (Unpaid) to the Tobacco companies

2) the only one your hurting is yourself(and also your Friends, Family, pets that you love 2nd hand smoke is deadly too!) by suffering in a Tar-polluted lungs-(if you have one of those ashtrays that looks like a cup, and the top part comes off to empty it out, look underneath the lid....That's what is in YOUR lungs right now...TAR....IF you have one of those bowl shaped trays take a Q-tip some time and just drag it around the bowl then just know that black shit on the tip is TAR and other shit in YOUR Lungs that's slowly but effectively KILLING You!

3)Just know, By you smoking you'll be lucky to be alive by age 50+ as Cigarettes Shortens your lifespan greatly!

dude my grandparents are in their 60's and have smoke their whole life. most of my family has smoked and they've had pretty great lifespans honestly, no one has yet to die directly from side effects from smoking.

and i've never heard of any cases of anyone getting hurt by smoking weed honestly.

Do you smoke? Also, I find it funny that you have not heard at all about the bad effects of smoking to your health. What kind of community do you live in?

And those tobacco companies must pay for their product, which goes to the farmers who grow tobacco, which in turn is used to by food and pay taxes, which in turn goes to the bank, and oh look, into your wallet, and then back to the tobacco companies. Also, unless you smoke 20 cigarettes in a day, you aren't just going to drop dead. You may begin to suffer from health problems, but that's a long-term effect anyway.

My grandmother, who is a heavy smoker (I've said this before), is alive and well at the age of 68-69, and she has been smoking almost all her life. Please don't throw estimates around that have to deal with cigarettes and smoking, because they're not always true. My great grandfather was 92 when he died, and he had smoked all his life, even when he was in World War 2 and Vietnam, he must have been extremely lucky.

That was an estimate from my health class(in high school)....blame old textbooks for that

I never have and never will. I've seen what happens to smokers once they reach their 70's.

I didn't ever smoke and I won't ever do it. I know my dad one time did it, but now he stopped.
