Due we cant really change the sources/codes of SMBX,YesMECHDRAGON777 wrote:Will the same glitches be left in?
Why so excited? This ain't big update you know. Well, it's at least something right? It's funny how people DON'T read and they keep making requests. SMBX can't be updated without a source code. The best thing they can get to hacking SMBX, if anything, is currently what Valtteri and Darkchao are doinh. Why won't people listen sometimes?Murphmario wrote:Yes, YES, YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!
I approve of this update. Going to download when it is released. I guess Redigit doesn't need to make the so called "Super X". But...
We need Smb1 and Smb2 Sizables.

So you can think of this as not a content update but as a quality update.
- There is no playable Samus or new Yoshi.
There are no new tiles than what are already in game.
Only graphics were edited in order to fix graphical issues with the game.
Sounds and music files were replaced with higher quality versions.
There are no bug fixes.
The main purpose was to change the urls in the game and editor to reflect the new site as well as fix some small problems such as the SMW beach koopas not having the correct graphics.

No, they were tricking us with fake screenshots made with CGFX. You know what Quill's like - remember when he made a fake D-Link to AoF back last year and tricked everyone into thinking it'd finished? It's just a minor update, hence why it's not called SMBX 1.4, or even 1.3.1. It's called 1.3.0.1 and this echoes the effect of the update being really minor.zlakerboy357 wrote:So there isn't a new cat power up or new Yoshi types?

Yeah, this was exactly why SMB:R got cancelled back in 2012. Loads of people were asking when it would be released and any fixes to it, and it was getting on the developers' nerves that they chose to completely scrap the project altogether. Which is a shame, as it was the root cause of Knux's fury and hatred against this one, and there was going to be a feature that allowed events to be freely turned on and off without the need for switches.ConXus wrote:Wow, people are still asking for requests when Joey and everyone else say nothing else can be fixed/added. DEAL WITH IT EVERYONE!
This happens every time an update or remake (SMBX Remastered anyone?) gets announced. Hopefully your not joking about this, but people always over-react and ask for impossible fixes/additions.
