It's working now. My computer internet has a data plan and I just got data. The episode manager must have been getting no connection. Thanks for the help.
Yeah that might be it. I plan on adding an indication as to how big the episode is, some are rather large so watch your data connection. Glad it's fixed now

Okay well it's not enough to just tell me you found an error. I need to know the steps to recreate it and what exactly it shows in the details section.

It happens when you click on open SMBX and if you need admin rights to open it, it will onpen up the admin screen. The error show up if you hit Cancel.

I got the episode manager to work twice and I got micro soft .net error 403 again. I don't think it's my computers internet data that cause's the problem. One day do you think you will upload all the episodes in zip files to download from a website?

This is really weird...can you tell me what episodes you're trying to download and I'll try reproducing the error?

I never did try downloading any episodes. I got the episode manager to work once and close it and open it again to make sure It would open again. I came back later to download a episode and got the error and been getting it since.

Not sure about automatically but I'm trying my best to do it manually, but I don't wanna add anything without the authors permission. And then there's those with SendSpace links (who I am boycotting). Eventually I'll add a way to where you guys can submit episodes to me lime the program used to have.

Okay then this is weird..you seem to be the only one having a problem. I thought maybe I had accidentally set an episode to private/not able to be downloaded since it was a 403 forbidden error. Are you getting updates to your client fine?

Yes please. I'm going to work on a standard for submitting these episodes to me so hang tight.

Alright guys, I've attached the requirements for submitting an episode in the first post. They're quite specific but that's to
A: Ease the submission process
B: Make sure everything looks nice in the episode manager

Previous post: Guys, I have an important announcement to make
As of today, the Episode Manager is currently (for lack of a better word) dead. The reason why:
I'm not entirely sure what happened (I'm trying to get a hold of Pixels to solve this, i suspect he's been inactive and they closed his account.) but I'm going to take this opportunity (good thing seeing as how spring break just started for me) to almost sort of rewrite and clean up everything that has to do with the episode manager. Starting with my own x10hosting server. Now, I do have a slightly outdated version of the worldIndex file we used to contain all the episodes. All I'll need to do is find the episode, reupload to the server, and relink the files. But as of right now, I'm focused on releasing a small update to patch the server issues so stay tuned for that. It will be required to be manually downloaded given the current state of the servers. This also means I'll have to rework the website and installer but that shouldn't be too difficult. The official forums are still up and functional at: http://forums.smbxepisodes.tk
Stay tuned and my apologies,
Mike
EDIT: I've pushed out a hotfix at long last, it can be acquired a few different ways.
1. You can reinstall via the updated Custom Installer
2. You can download this zip file which contains the latest (as of now) 2.2.2.2 updaate
3. You can download just the exe
4. GitHub
Enjoy everyone, I can't push this out through the current version due to obvious server incompatibilities
Alright guys, so I've pushed out an update that does quite a bit of things. Here's the changelog, be sure to get it
First of all, if you're not already, be sure to keep an eye on the official github ( https://github.com/Luigifan/smbx-instal ... er2/issues)
where you can submit issues, fork us, etc. I'd like all issues to be submitted here from now on so I can mark them as fixed, etc.
2.3.0.0 Changelog wrote:
-Re-enabled everything that was disabled in the last update
-Changed the "Submit Feedback" icon to a nice quill
-Fixed Issue #1 "A Partially Downloaded or Damaged Exe Causes a ArgumentNullException When Parsing Version"
-Evened out the listBoxes
-Fixed tabbing between textboxes in settings and the submission application
-Compacted the submission application a bit
-Adds support for custom indexes
-Added some experimental support for resizing/maximizing
-MainForm is now double buffered a bit to help increase performance when resizing.
-Allows UpdateConfirm window to be resized/moved around
The New Guidelines for Custom XML's: http://forums.smbxepisodes.tk/topic22.html

I like the idea of downloading episodes via a program!, I wanted to play episodes, but it bothers me a lot of searching through garbage for something I will download and have to delete it immediately because I not like.
I have a question ... Can we send project demonstrations? Or has to be the full episode?

I can't get past the installer. As soon as I click "Next," the window height just grows for some reason and then crashes. I've tried running it as an Administrator as well, but the same thing happened.
Here's a screenshot:
