Eh. I liked the silly mario style older ones with the not symmetrical face that looked like paper mario. But if you lengthen the teeth, it would look like Davy Jones from Pirates Of The Caribbean which would be good for the water world.

Also: how can you restrict the Koopas? I can just take them from the old episode folders right?

On that note, as303298 wants to use this for the larger normal Dry Guy:

Now, I haven't animated it yet, nor is it quite finished. There's a few little things I want to change first. So before I do, I was kinda hoping for some feedback from the general public. What do you like/dislike or would alter to the sprite?
I think this is very original. They are really looking very threatening this way, in my opinion. Will you also do small ones like them, and variations with spikes, burning, etc? That would look very cool too ^^. Other than that I cannot say anithing else, until I see them animated. But judging from the small picture it looks like his head will move a bit up/left and down/right.

Just like a gravedigger he is xD. At least you ask first, instead of just dig the graves for the lost "treasures" ^^.

From what Squishy and Superior said, they both made special versions. A Fire and Golden one were reported to me, so I am eager to see them. As for the Dry Guy Tribe, there are a lot of variations. From the Black Chasers, to the Tan Spiketops, so a lot were planned. Right now, I proposed a "Dry Cloak", as I'll call him, to replace lakitus.

On another note, after noticing SDG only used the rocket barrel graphics once, in 3-4, I've decided to implement another level. This'll take 5-1 "Spiked Crossroad"s gimmick with the Rocket Barrel's autoscroll level and atmosphere. As of right now, both 3-4 and 5-2 will have the same speed and size level; so nothing really changes but the obstacles.

Last note, 3-4 was made by Dark Onious and edited by me to make it harder. On the other-hand, 5-2 is designed strictly by me; so it's gonna kill you.

(Edit 2:51pm 3/9/15)
Completed 5-2. I have got to say...this is one of the hardest levels in SDG..yet its incredibly short. I'll post a pic once I iron out the visual aesthetics of the level.

AW YEAH, do it harder man..harder. Jk, I'll send the level to you in the morning. Wanna think over the design whilst I am at work to ensure I am happy with what I made.

I played it, that was a REALLY hard level, the lava level I'm working on has the same formula except that it's filled with lava.
It's real hard, but it isn't finished, would you like to play test it?

I like to activity, but let's keep these comments between us for now. No need to keep irritating the mods who have to patrol these forums. But lastly, yeah go on ahead and send any betas you have for now. 5-1 and 5-2 Sorta depleted me in terms of level ideas, so now i'm back at square one. As for you Mech, you gotta work faster than me if you want a position (which isnt much..im super slow); you've had plenty of time to send anything tbh.

Know what is sad...I designed 5-2 completely. I know its tricks, I know how to do it without getting hit once (yes Superior..this is possible), and I still couldn't record it. With Bandicam screwing up with me, and the inability to beat it on camera..I gave up. So..looks like not only is 5-1 gonna be spoiler free, but so is 5-2. Enjoy! (in like 3 years)

And Just now..literally just now..I got an idea for 5-3 "The Return of the Wizard's Ride"
Not really the best at naming levels..I'll be honest.

Well it looked like you and I will finish World 5 then. Cus 5-3 and 5-4 are the only remaining levels left. Aside from 5-6, which I might take since I have a good idea for a train level.
But 5-D needs to have its boss replaced.
5-5 Was submitted by an old friend and just needs a few tweaks.
5-7 Was submitted by RvBNut, and needs a couple tweaks since people hate switch puzzles.
And lastly, 5-C "Bataice's Castle" is done anyway. So give it another 2 weeks or so, and SDG's most irritating world will be complete. Not irritating for its insane difficulty, but rather irritating because Ice LEvels in general are jsut hard to make fun!
So instead of making generic ice levels, almost every single one has some weird gimmick.
5-1 Is more kaizo-esk with tricky jumping being the dominant feature. 5-2 is a Rocket Barrel level. 5-3 will be taken by Superior. 5-4 will be a lava-riding based level (much like SMBW's poison levels), and the rest just need to be reworked a tad. (enjoy that ACTUAL update on level status)

Would the Bullet Bill Express be good for this?

I have being waiting for an okay from you the entire time! Am I aloud to make an ice level for one of the different worlds then?

Or is there a castle I can make?

Told ya before to make something and present it before I can consider you a designer for SDG. You already asked to try to make 5-1 or 5-2 and I said go on ahead, anything was your choice...and you never sent anything back. As for castles, no; all of them are either taken care of or exempt.

Sorry, I forgot about that, I can see if I can make a level, how difficult should I aim for when I make a level to preview?

Any graphical or music restrictions?

No restrictions, but make it difficult to impress me. You of all people know what qualities I love in levels :3

That is true, hen may I how off a kaizo level I made to try to impress you? And I mean just to impress you?

Okay, and just like you avoid switch blocks, I avoid spin jump requirements!

Tell ya what, World 3 has one level I dare not touch myself. Level 3-GH "Sunken House". If you can impress me with a Ghost House - Water Level hybrid, then I will give you more assignments for World 2 and 5. World 2 hasn't really been explored much, despite its size. So I intend on doing something neat with it for late game players.

A sunken ghost ship, I can see what I can do, out of my norm; I will do my best!

Any graphics in particular?

I actually couldnt find anything that would fit. I already used a good tileset in 3-C, "Frightening Ship," so I have nothing to recommend. Its focus, tileset wise, should be a ghost house anyway, so any generic tileset should suffice. (Granted, I dont design GHs anyway so I have no experience in them)
