Since November 2015, as far as I remember. Tho I made this account in 2017.

I got it in 2013, then kinda stopped after 2016, and now I'm getting back into it.

Been playing since end of 2009 (or was it 2010?) when I somehow stumbled across supermariobrothers.org when looking for flash games. I recall the first version I got was the 1.1.2 version, which came packaged with The Princess Cliche, The Great Castle Adventure and The Invasion 1. The second one was the first episode I ever played, and it took me a while to figure out the controls, but was eventually hooked. I however couldn't figure out the editor until 1.2 came out, and since then I've been playing ever since. I haven't had much motivation to make levels lately though.

Yeah. I've played SMBX since summer 2019.

I've played since 2018. I played for a bit before joining and posting my first level. Not done much since (one OK standalone level and a joke episode with 8 crap ones)

I've played SMBX since a year before I joined the forums, so since 2015 (5 years). Before I played it and created an account on here, I was just reading posts on the forums as a guest and watching videos of playthroughs of SMBX. The reason I downloaded SMBX was that I was trying to find an alternative to Super Mario Maker that was free. I play levels more than I create them because I don't really have the attention span or patience. I recently stopped playing SMBX altogether because I currently don't have my own computer and I've started gaining interest in other video games like Animal Crossing and Splatoon. The only reason I'm still on the forums and discord is that I like conversating with the people who are on here. I might start playing SMBX again if I get another computer, I can't right now because I'm on my school laptop.

i seen SMBX since 2015 in youtube in 2017 i started in my dad old laptop later i have my own laptop and to this day i been playing it

I found SMBX from a WiiLikeToPlay playthrough of the Invasion 2 in late 2013. I started playing SMBX around mid-2014 and joined the community in the Summer of 2015. I took a break from May 2018 to July 2019, and continue to play SMBX today

For me, I first heard about SMBX in 2012, back when 1.3.0.1 was the only version existing (I did play it a little back then). After that it was mostly on-and-off until June 2020, which is when I started playing it more often (although less now because of university life).

I started with SMBX in 2016... It sounds like a lot, but then there are people who can double that who are still in this community.

I discovered SMBX in December 2016 along with all of the popular SMM fangames out there. I didn't like it, I found it way too tedious at first, so I preferred to stay with Mario Editor. Late 2017 I tried it out again and that's where I started getting into the community and stuff. Even though I've known of SMBX's existence since before I joined the forums and the Discord server, I've only actually played other people's levels for a few months at most, and have never been able to finish any levels I've started creating. I had planned to record a full playthrough of the Princess Cliche for YouTube, but never made more than one video. Ever since the last laptop I had stopped being functional, I haven't been able to really get into SMBX like I wanted to.

Found SMBX at mid 2014, started to active both in-game and community at late 2014. Hiatus both in-game and community at early 2017.
Coming back around 2020/2021-ish when the latest beta is released, but less active than I used to because life and GD.

I can officially say that I've been with SMBX since 2010. That's a whole 12 years. I've been on and off with activity on the forums page, but I still be active the engine/game itself.

Started on December 2009...oh my, more than 10 years!

I guess I discovered it around 2018/2019?
