This is probably what has been awaited for most time in this community. I'll be sure to check this update out soon if my computer lets me
I hope you've read all of the thread, a patch has been talked about

You say that as if the program is currently unusable across the board. The patch will address things that are either minor or only affect a very small subset of people. And if someone is part of that subset, it would be VERY GOOD if they could share as much information about their setup as possible, so that we can find commonalities between all incidents:

Just read it, had just a bit of time to check here yesterday
Anyway I'm going to download the update to see what I can experience with it, I'm probably going to get errors in this computer though

Let's make this the Roaring Twenties of SMBX! (To be followed by the Thrilling Thirties, the Fantastic Fourties, the... Well, let's think about that later).

This release is really awesome but when I loaded up my level from the pal build and tested it my custom bgo was black but in the editor it was normal.

I have a feeling this has something to do with the new section and colour settings.

Im not sure why this happens but when you place the red filler tile for the smb3 lava block it becomes invisible when I start the game. Am I the only one with this problem?
Edit: I restarted the entire editor and now it’s visible again. This is probably a glitch that needs to be patched.

My hardware can't handle this. It crashes when attempting to start an episode. Ah, well...

Knowing what comes after the Roaring Twenties, I'm not sure if I want to do that.

By the way, I found the proper fix for the Koopa clown car disappearing when Bowser attempts to enter into it.
In bowser.lua:
should be changed to:
Code: Select all if player:mem(0x108,FIELD_WORD) ~= 2 then
player:mem(0x108,FIELD_WORD,0);
end
(I actually had some laughs when encountering this bug, lol)

Nevermind, the glitch happens again when you load up ANY episode. Patch this pls hoeloe- It is reproduced by getting a new install, and pressing Play on the launcher. Then go into Create, make a level, and use Lunatester.
(idk how to know my computer model either)

My hardware is from 2008; that's what matters, not that I'm running Windows 7 AND IT CANNOT RUN WINDOWS 10 NOW OR EVER.

Yup. Fixed in the upcoming update. For now, go into the data folder and delete autostart.ini.

Not sure if this is intended, but Tantrunts don't trigger brittle blocks or die when falling down pits.

There is something funny. If you make a pipe warp going from down and down, then switch the warp to doors, you will only enter doors pressing down.
Should the doors warping option be fixed to be up and up?

It would be great if I can make the Super Bell/Double Cherry.

This has always been the case.

Only NPCs with the isheavy flag in NPC config set to true trigger brittle blocks.
No NPCs die when falling down pits, and from my testing Tantrunt appears to de/respawn like any other standard NPC.

Since playable characters are going to be worked on in Beta 5, I'd like to suggest that Mega Man gets his own NPCs for health and weapon energy restoration instead of just regular (they would give the same amount as a large health energy upon being picked up) and 1-UP Mushrooms (obvious as to what these would do). In terms of the other characters picking these items up, the small health pickups could turn the player big once they collect enough, the big ones would pretty much just be the heart NPC, and maybe the weapon ammo pickups could function the same but giving the fire power-up instead?
