Do you still want to be a judge?
Yes, i already pinged you there and told you how stuff work.VanillaDude wrote: ↑Sat Feb 16, 2019 4:52 pmWell so we're done with the judges now... Do you will send the submissions to your discord server so we will download them from there?
Well when i made the poll in my server regarding the contest, over 20 people were interested in it so that's why this contest exists. My guess is that we will get probably from 10 to 20 submissions. It kinda sucks when your contest is not official but i am trying my best to keep advertising the contest so more people can join it.Taycamgame wrote: ↑Tue Feb 19, 2019 2:04 pmCurrently making a level. How many people are signing up for this? It'd be tough if all this prep is made for the contest and barely anyone signs up.
How about a list with the participants ? Its cool know how many people are competing.Eri7 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 19, 2019 2:12 pmWell when i made the poll in my server regarding the contest, over 20 people were interested in it so that's why this contest exists. Doesn't really provide that information considering some of those won't make a level, and some people would just submit levels.AirShip wrote: ↑Thu Feb 21, 2019 10:45 pmHow about a list with the participants ? Yeah and there are even people who are only in discord that might make a level for the contest, some of the participants don't know if they will be able to make a level so this is a reason as to why i don't have a participant list. Also this contest is for fun, not competing, yeah there is a reward at the end however everyone else too gets an optional reward and this contest won't really show to the world that you can be the best level designer in the community because you know... its not official and the judges aren't the best level designers in the community either. Also i fear that a participant list will turn off some people from the contest because the amount of participants won't match with their expectations. So in short, this contest is for fun and we will know the amount of participants when the deadline is over.Electriking wrote: ↑Fri Feb 22, 2019 1:52 amDoesn't really provide that information considering some of those won't make a level, and some people would just submit levels.AirShip wrote: ↑Thu Feb 21, 2019 10:45 pmHow about a list with the participants ? Oh wow, that's a bit sad but i extended the deadline to 1-st May, i just haven't updated the topic yet because i was waiting to finish my teaser. So yeah, this really sucks but if you want to, then you can maybe design a more simplier level, if not then its ok if you dont participate.PixelPest wrote: ↑Fri Mar 08, 2019 10:21 pmWell, I was working on a level for this but my computer crashed and oc PGE corrupts the file so I don't really want to redo it at this point. The few hundred lines of code I wrote are still there but I lost the actual level itself, so I'm not sure if I'm going to end up finishing it
Yes, everyone can submit a level to this contest, you just have to specify in which version should it be played in!
Yes, that's so true. And also remember to use the SMB3 star exit as most of the levels receive a penalty because of wrong exit.
You're right. I told that to Eri, we aren't doing penalties anymore so we will focus better on the real score of the levels.Enjl wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 8:52 amNone of these penalties are mentioned in the first post, what??? It's 2019 and levels are still being punished for minor oversights a host can take care of before sending the level to the judges? Either this is the worst timeline or the judges just spout nonsense.
